★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at FLORIPA last week - and I didn't expect what I found ! Ameriga and her partner have created a hidden paradise 3 mn away from a wild beach. The yoga shala and the yoga gear are remarkable, as well as the classes, the food, the ambiance, the bedrooms and the cleanliness. Whether you like to relax in a hammoc, sweat during a flow yoga, go deep into a yin practice, go wild on a kite sirf, or meditate on a stand up paddle, you'll be happy as ever, surrounded by lovely cats and dogs, buddhas and jasmine trees. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Floripa is a wonderful place to stay!
You can yoga, kite surf or SUP (or all three!) Free bike hire. Beach towel rental Eur2 a day.
The yoga is some of the best we have discovered in the world. AMERIGA is an amazing yoga teacher.
We really enjoyed staying at Mayana’s Homestay, 300m away, and booked by Floripa because they were full. We felt this was as good as being onsite and actually there were some benefits of having some more privacy and being 2 mins away by bike!
The beach is a short walk away.
Floripa is a 9 Euro bus (1hr30mins) from Catania Airport.
Make sure you confirm and double confirm dates before you book flights as we heard of some confusion with some guests . Our dates and booking worked out perfectly!
We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ameriga is the most professional and dedicated yoga instructor I have ever seen during all my travels and advanced master classes abroad. She has a broad understanding in anatomy and she teaches TCC's, tears you up in masters class (that's what I was looking for) and then relaxes with chanting/singing. All other teachers, Eva and Vicky, are amazing non the less with their own strength and kind personality to bright up yogis day :) I met so many wonderful people there, ate good, nutritious, fresh food accompanied with wine for dinner, sometimes local pizza or meat! Loved it. The bonus is the beach near by with free SUP and Floripa's it's own private beach with beds. Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and 3 friends who never did yoga won a trip to floripa for a week and i can honestly say it was one of our best vacations ever. We were all flabbergasted about the resort, the room, the food. And for 2 of us we entered a new world for us being yoga, instructors were very kind and helpfull. We made new friends, enjoyed the beach were apparently this time of year only other floripa guests are. Every request was met with a yes and a big smile.
Lovely place with lovely people and wonderfull yoga and after 6 days i didn't want to go....thanks to all, i want to put down all the names but i am afraid i will forget one :-D

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are really cosy, even the shared one I was in. Visitors are nice and from all over the world, plus the communal feeling really helps getting to know each other fast and making friends.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, nice and funny people all! The food is amazing and I personally recommend booking the full pension treatment and attend all yoga classes, because they're excellent. Ameriga is a great yoga teacher and her lessons and help really improved my practice and my understanding of the discipline and philosophy.
The beach nearby is also long and nice, the Floripa soy is comfortable and very close and even if you can't or don't want to go around much, you won't lack for anything. I'll be back for sure and I can only give Floripa my personal highest recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing place, a little heaven nested in one the wildest beaches in Sicily. I loved the yoga morning and afternoon classes and learning kitesurfing. The place is run with love and care and you can meet people from everywhere and Italians expats returning home, a really great week ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The accommodation and the whole property is really nice, the vibe is something I can't even describe, the food is really good. I love meat and eat a lot of it but I always liked the only vegetarian dinners too, as there were quite some options to choose from and they were all really delicious. And also, Saturday is BBQ night, which is really nice for meat lovers as me. :)
The beach has huge sand dunes which are beautiful and you can use all the beds and umbrellas they have. Also you can sign up for some kitesurfing or surfing classes or rent a SUP.
I liked the yoga a lot too, and the shala they have is so good.
Last but not least, the people!! The staff, the teachers and everyone are the nicest people, they make you feel at home from the first moment.

Amazing yoga classes (they last 1h30m), amazing yoga teachers and vegetarian food, super close to a wonderful sea (sunbeds are provided at the spot on the beach) . Location is beautiful, with 2 spacious shalas where to practice yoga. People from all over the world, friendly and open minded, great atmosphere.
