C	Carlo Spatola Mayo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi dispiace davvero non poter mettere più di tre stelle a questo esercizio che ha una posizione molto bella, quasi selvaggia, a ridosso di uno dei pochi tratti di spiaggia pressoché naturale che ancora si riescono a trovare in Italia. Sicuramente la posizione e l'ubicazione "avventurosa" ne costituiscono la principale attrattiva. Anche il personale di servizio - semplice, come giusto che fosse - è stato molto corretto e gentile. Abbiamo assaggiato due antipasti e la frittura di pesce. Non posso certo dire di avere mangiato male, pesce freschissimo e ben cucinato. Ma il cosiddetto "surimi" nell'insalata di mare proprio no, non la ritengo un'opzione praticabile. Un'altra cosa che ho trovato non adeguato è il prezzo. Vivo in Abruzzo da trent'anni e conosco bene i prezzi generalmente praticati. Ebbene, i prezzi che vengono praticati in questa semplice trattoria, ancorché non esosi, a mio avviso leggermente al di sopra della media per trattorie di questo genere, sottopiatti e tovaglie di carta senza tanti fronzoli. Ma fino a questo punto un 3,5 da approssimare a 4 ci poteva pure stare. Ciò che mi ha dato la peggiore impressione, e che mi ha costretto ad approssimare per difetto, è stato l'atteggiamento del proprietario di fronte a una mia richiesta di chiarimento sul conto. Ci risultavano 10 euro in più di quello che avevamo previsto. È stato chiarito che il menu, scritto a mano, presentava una cifra scritta male, un 8 che sembrava un 3. L'errore dunque era loro e un atteggiamento dispiaciuto e conciliante invece tono lievemente arrogante e aggressivo che è stato adottato mi sarebbe sembrato più appropriato. I really regret not being able to give more than three stars to this establishment which has a very beautiful, almost wild location, close to one of the few stretches of almost natural beach that can still be found in Italy. Surely the position and the "adventurous" location constitute the main attraction. The service staff - straightforward, as it should be - was also very correct and polite. We tasted two starters and the fried fish. I certainly cannot say that I ate badly, very fresh and well cooked fish. But the so-called "surimi" in the seafood salad really isn't, I don't think it's a viable option. Another thing I found inadequate is the price. I have been living in Abruzzo for thirty years and I am familiar with the prices generally charged. Well, the prices that are charged in this simple restaurant, although not exorbitant, in my opinion slightly above the average for restaurants of this kind, placemats and paper tablecloths without many frills. But up to this point a 3.5 to be approximated to 4 could well be there. What gave me the worst impression, and forced me to approximate down, was the attitude of the owner in the face of my request for clarification on the bill. We were 10 euros more than we had expected. It was clarified that the menu, written by hand, had a badly written figure, an 8 that looked like a 3. The mistake was therefore theirs and a sorry and conciliatory attitude instead of a slightly arrogant and aggressive tone that was adopted would have seemed more appropriate.

Il livello è quello di una semplice trattoria di mare, con cibo buono e semplice. Forse non super economico come prezzi, ma se capitasse l'occasione ci torneremmo sicuramente. Beautiful location and a very simple and welcoming place. We were very comfortable with a kind and attentive staff. The level is that of a simple seaside restaurant, with good and simple food. Maybe not super cheap as prices, but if the opportunity arises we would definitely stay here again.
