Gli animali si alimentano esclusivamente al pascolo e fieno. Si raggiunge in auto in 30 minuti da Varese. È possibile anche parcheggiare a Castello Cabiaglio e raggiungere la fattoria a piedi fra selve castanili e faggeti. D	Dario Clivio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consiglio di lasciare la macchina in paese e godersi la passeggiata a piedi, per andare forse la discesa sembra un po'ripida e lunga ma al rientro sembrerà più breve e alla fine piacevole nonostante la salita. In 15/20 minuti ci si immerge sempre più in profondità in un angolo di natura che una volta raggiunto a valle il ponticello d'ingresso alla fattoria vi abbraccerà accogliendovi con lo scrosciare dell'acqua del fiume rancina, elemento costante che avvolge tutta la fattoria, e i campanacci delle mucche libere al pascolo. Non c'è un punto ristoro come un bar o un agriturismo, è semplicemente una fattoria immersa nella natura nei cui prati è possibile passeggiare. C'è una vendita di formaggi di mucca, pecora e capra (ottimi! ... le bestie pascolano in quei prati e in quei formaggi si sente l'erba e il fino che brucano ...) e, solo su prenotazione, anche carne. Ci sono dei tavoli e uno spazio griglia utilizzabile su prenotazione che può accogliere anche 15/20 persone. I proprietari sono persone assolutamente gentili e ospitali. Consigliatissimo per una passeggiata del sabato pomeriggio, una grigliata tra amici e l'acquisto di formaggi e carne. I recommend leaving the car in the village and enjoying the walk, to go perhaps the descent seems a bit steep and long but on the way back it will seem shorter and at the end pleasant despite the climb. In 15/20 minutes you dive deeper and deeper into a corner of nature which, once you reach the small entrance bridge to the farm downstream, will embrace you welcoming you with the roar of the water of the Rancina river, a constant element that surrounds the whole farm , and the bells of free grazing cows. There is no refreshment point like a bar or a farmhouse, it is simply a farm surrounded by nature in whose meadows it is possible to walk. There is a sale of cow, sheep and goat cheeses (excellent! ... the beasts graze in those meadows and in those cheeses you can hear the grass and fine grazing ...) and, by reservation only, also meat. There are tables and a grill area that can be used by reservation and can also accommodate 15/20 people. The owners are absolutely kind and hospitable people. Highly recommended for a Saturday afternoon walk, a barbecue with friends and the purchase of cheese and meat.
