G	Giovanni Scotto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grazie alla sua posizione strategica, il faro di Miseno, illumina il golfo di Pozzuoli e il canale di Procida. Il faro è in piedi dagli inizi del 1800. Edificato con l’obiettivo di rendere visibile il passaggio attraverso uno dei canali più trafficati della nostra penisola, nel 1910 passò dal Servizio Fari alla sovrintendenza della Marina Regia grazie a un decreto del re Vittorio Emanuele III. Cinque anni dopo, per garantire maggiore sicurezza agli spostamenti in mare, nacque l’Ispettorato dei Fari e dei segnalamenti marittimi, con sede a Napoli all’interno dell’arsenale. Nel 1943, verso la fine della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, il faro fu colpito e raso al suolo dai bombardamenti aerei tedeschi. Fu interamente ricostruito nel 1948, quindi quello che vediamo oggi non è il faro originario, ma una sua versione più moderna. Il faro è oggi avvolto da un fascino misterioso. é possibile visitarlo in rare occasioni, grazie a dei tour organizzati e la vista è mozzafiato. Da questo promontorio è possibile affacciarsi sul golfo e vedere a poca distanza Procida, Ischia, Capri ed il Vesuvio. Un luogo magico, romantico, che all’imbrunire diviene ancora più spettacolare. Da visitare almeno una volta se ci si trova in zona. Thanks to its strategic position, the Miseno lighthouse illuminates the Gulf of Pozzuoli and the Procida canal. The lighthouse has been standing since the early 1800s. Built with the aim of making visible the passage through one of the busiest canals of our peninsula, in 1910 it passed from the Lighthouse Service to the superintendence of the Royal Navy thanks to a decree of King Vittorio Emanuele III . Five years later, to ensure greater safety when traveling at sea, the Inspectorate of Lighthouses and Maritime Signals was born, based in Naples within the arsenal. In 1943, towards the end of the Second World War, the lighthouse was hit and razed to the ground by German air raids. It was entirely rebuilt in 1948, so what we see today is not the original lighthouse, but a more modern version of it. The lighthouse is now enveloped in a mysterious charm. it is possible to visit it on rare occasions, thanks to organized tours and the view is breathtaking. From this promontory it is possible to overlook the gulf and see Procida, Ischia, Capri and Vesuvius at a short distance. A magical, romantic place that becomes even more spectacular at dusk. To visit at least once if you are in the area.

Visibile da più punti, il profilo di questo faro da sempre ispira malinconia e romanticismo. Giungendo proprio ai piedi del faro, c'è un belvedere in cui, attraverso le piante, è possibile scorgere l'intero golfo, ammirandolo da una comoda panchina. Belvedere che, da sempre, attira folle di persone, fotografi dilettanti e coppiette innamorate, due categorie che sembrano alla ricerca della stessa cosa - un panorama che evochi romanticismo e sospiri nel silenzio. Con le tenebre, tuttavia, la zona attorno al faro ospita principalmente le sopracitate coppiette, che però stavolta sono alla ricerca, complice il buio, di meno romanticismo (o quantomeno di un tipo diverso) e più "sospiri". With the darkness, however, the area around the lighthouse mainly hosts the aforementioned couples, but this time they are looking, thanks to the darkness, for less romanticism (or at least of a different type) and more "sighs".

Per andare al fato di Capo Miseno dovete attraversare una lunga galleria e poi svoltare a sinistra e seguire la strada fino al cancello della Marina Militare. Go for The sunset is fabulous. I recommend it. The picture speaks for itself. To go to the fate of Capo Miseno you have to go through a long tunnel and then turn left and follow the road to the gate of the Navy.

Quindi ci dovrebbe essere più cura da parte delle autorità competenti e solleciterei x poter visitare anche il Faro. Altrimenti non visitabile. Magical place! There is an incredible view from up there. The path is not very easy at times, and in certain areas there is little care and maintenance. So there should be more care from the relevant authorities and I would urge x to be able to visit the Lighthouse as well. Otherwise not open to visitors.

Alture meravigliose: perfetto per una passeggiata pomeridiana. Più o meno ci vuole una mezz’ora per scendere dal picco e 40 minuti per salire. Ne vale veramente la pena ❤️ A magical place! Very beautifull! Go with comfortable shoes, car park near the stairs .. go up with stairs and tree-lined views. Wonderful heights: perfect for an afternoon walk. More or less it takes half an hour to descend from the peak and 40 minutes to ascend. It is really worth it ❤️
