Non ho potuto visitare l'interno ma è stata una bella passeggiata con vedute mozzafiato. I went on Christmas day to visit the structure where the Hermit has lived for 24 years. I couldn't visit the inside but it was a nice walk with stunning views.
O	Otiv on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affascinato dalla storia del Semaforo di Monte Gallo e dal suo recente inquilino era da tanto tempo che cercavo di fare questa escursione. La salita è stata molto più impegnativa di quello che pensavo, 90 minuti di salita molto scoscesa e sconnessa. Altra sorpresa, mi aspettavo di effettuare una salita in solitario o comunque in compagnia di poche persone ed invece oltre a me ed alla mia compagna ho trovato la compagnia di almeno 50 persone (fra quali anche bambini starnazzanti, ma forse la colpa è del giorno festivo), evidentemente Isravele è diventato di moda. La costruzione borbonica è meno imponenti di altre simili ma il tocco di "Art Brut" che gli ha dato l'Eremita è piacevole e incuriosisce molto. Non è stato possibile entrare nella struttura poichè Isravele si è ben guardato dall'accoglierci (giustamente). Tutto sommato esperienza positiva. Lungo il percorso sono ben visibili lo scempio di Pizzo Sella oltre che l'affascinante costruzione (anch'essa borbonica) della Torre Amari e (mi hanno detto ma non l'ho trovata) una curiosa Parietolia Fascinated by the history of the Monte Gallo traffic light and its recent tenant, I had been trying to do this excursion for a long time. The climb was much more challenging than I thought, 90 minutes of very steep and bumpy climb. Another surprise, I expected to make a climb alone or in the company of a few people and instead, in addition to me and my partner, I found the company of at least 50 people (including squawking children, but perhaps the fault is the holiday ), Isravele has evidently become fashionable. The Bourbon construction is less impressive than others similar but the touch of "Art Brut" that the Hermit gave it is pleasant and very intriguing. It was not possible to enter the structure as Isravele took care not to welcome us (rightly). All in all a positive experience. Along the way the destruction of Pizzo Sella is clearly visible as well as the fascinating construction (also Bourbon) of the Amari Tower and (they told me but I have not found it) a curious Parietolia

Il percorso per raggiungere la vetta è segnato da decorazioni estrose realizzate dall'eremita che vi abita e che vi guida verso la sua opera, un santuario decorato da conchiglie ed oggetto ritrovati, davvero suggestivo. Il percorso per raggiungere il semaforo di Monte Gallo mette alla prova anche i più allenati, ma se sei spinto da curiosità e come dal mio caso, post cenoni di Natale, è perfetto per riprendere energie ;) Il panorama dall'alto è stupendo, la passeggiata anche, il santuario è bello, elogio all'arte grezza. Sarà che la giornata era uggiosa, ma per me il semaforo dell'eremita era un po' inquietante, forse dovuto al percorso iniziale in mezzo a tutte le case abbandonate di pizzo sella che sembrava di essere nel set di The Walking Dead, orrendo. The Hermit's traffic light is a suggestive place. The path to reach the summit is marked by whimsical decorations made by the hermit who lives there and who guides you towards his work, a truly suggestive sanctuary decorated with shells and found objects. The path to reach the Monte Gallo traffic light puts even the most trained to the test, but if you are driven by curiosity and as in my case, after Christmas dinners, it is perfect for regaining energy;) The view from above is wonderful, the walk too, the sanctuary is beautiful, praise to the raw art. Maybe the day was gloomy, but for me the hermit's traffic light was a bit disturbing, perhaps due to the initial path in the midst of all the abandoned lace-saddle houses that seemed to be in the set of The Walking Dead, horrendous.
