Un séjour formidable! Alessandra est très accueillante et l'appartement comme les extérieurs sont agréables et très propres. Piscine magnifique. Nous avons tout apprécié: vélos à disposition, légumes frais, un repas convivial au jardin, rapport qualité prix... Parfait ! Merci Alessandra

Posto meraviglioso,abbiamo trascorso delle vacanze in pieno relax. La proprietaria Alessandra è dolcissima e disponibile e mette a proprio agio. La struttura offre ai bambini e ai genitori grandi possibilità di divertimento, grazie alle biciclette,la piscina,il parco giochi e gli animali. Abbiamo soggiornato nell' appartamento chiamato "Puntone",caratteristico e confortevole. Spero di tornarci al più presto e consiglio a tutti di provarlo. :-)

Ho avuto modo di soggiornare nelle struttura diverse volte nei diversi periodi dell'anno.... l'hostb Alessandra è una perfetta padrona di una casa accogliente, pulita, ordinata e completa di ogni comfort come una biblioteca, una sala giochi, una meravigliosa piscina (solo per la primavera/estate però!) nonchè un fornitissimo parco biciclette adatte per ogni età. Sempre rilassante e piacevole soggiornare qui. Gentilissima Alessandra, sempre. Appartamento perfetto in campagna, appena fuori Sansepolcro, gioiello assoluto, con piccoli, preziosi mesei, ottimi ristoranti e locali, bei negozi.

I have been there a few times before, and I've always had a great time. The swimming pool is lovely.

A beautiful and welcoming place to stay. Alessandra and her family, who run the place, work extremely hard to make your stay as relaxing as possible. In my opinion this is the perfect place for families or couples who want to chill out for a few weeks with good food and wine and with plenty to do for people of all ages. Here are some things for you to do during your stay at Il Giardino. Relax by the pool, cycle through the sunflower and tobaco fields of the Tiber Valey, take a stroll into town for a gelato or a Yummy Pizza slice, go for a refreshing (yes it can be very cold) dip in the Tiber, walk or drive up Monte Casale and enjoy a stunning view of the valey, browse the shops or go to the market every Tuesday morning (or a bigger market on Thursdays in the nearby Cita di Castello). For your entertainment in the evenings here is a number of good restaurants (see Tripadvisor for reviews) to choose from. There is also an evening antiques market on Fridays and during the summer all the locals are out in the town centre walking up and down the main shopping street. It's quite a sight to behold as everyone wears their most flashy attire.. For those who enjoy a night out, there are two cocktail good bars (€5 a pop) and an Irish bar, all of which I have spent good time in.. If you enjoy sight-seeing you will find Il Giardino to be a good base to visit a number of cities. There are plenty of small, picturesque rural villages / towns in the area. The medieval town Anghiari is a good example. It is a 10-minute drive away, built on a hill that overlooks the valley and often has live jazz or classical music festivals during in the summer. If you want to see some of the more iconic cities of Italy; Siena, Florence, Pisa, San Marino, Perugia, Cesena and Lucca are all 'day-trip-distance' away. Rome is a little far for a day-trip, but why not commence or conclude your holiday with a few nights in Rome? You'll want to spend more than a day there anyway.. I encourage people to stay for at least two weeks. I have yet to meet a person who has not loved their time at Il Giardino and many visit more than once.

My wife's family have been coming here for years and now with our own young family it's a tradition I see us continuing with for many years. This is our 3rd year here and every time the owner, Alessandra, welcomes us as friends. Alessandra is so attentive, she will do her utmost best to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. The property is a 15th century villa that has been converted into self contained apartments which all have the traditional rustic tuscan charm of the original villa. For a family there is everything you need, fantastic pool, jacuzzi ,football pitch, play park, bowls, table tennis, table football and fruit and veg growing in abundance around you. You are a 5 minute walk from the medieval fortress town Sansepolcro, which has some fantastic ristoranti to try the best tuscan cuisine in the country. If you want to experience tuscany without it being spoilt by commercialism and tourism come here, you will not be disappointed.
