P	Paolo Penna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto bellissimo. Puoi mangiare la frutta presa direttamente dagli alberi. Personale molto molto molto cordiale. Da non dimenticare, ottimo cibo. Si dorme benissimo nelle camere, pulite e comode. Beautiful place. You can eat fruit taken straight from trees. Very very very friendly staff. Not to forget, great food. You sleep well in the rooms, which are clean and comfortable.

DA Caggianese d.o.c. non abitando a CAGGIANO per 40 anni.Ne avevo sempre sentito parlare di questa struttura.Ma ogni qualvolta che ne facevo di ritorno Natale Pasqua e vacanze estive proponevo agli amici (combricola)e la mia proposta veniva sempre rinviata,forse panze' schieramento politico opposto.Adesso rientrato al paesello stabilmente costatato e opinio come un Raspelli locale ...Locale struttua cucina ingredienti persone favolosa,compreso i gattini che ti danno il benvenuto. e	emmegi comunication on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima iniziativa dell'Associazione AMA SALERNO, i cui soci fondatori sono soliti girare in lungo e in largo la nostra Provincia, fermandosi spesso in posti fuori dalla portata delle luci della ribalta turistica. L'ospitalità, la buona cucina con i prodotti locali e di stagione, vengono segnalati per una visita a sorpresa. Complimenti a IL CAPITANO che non è venuto meno alle aspettative. Complimenti ai giurati che hanno affrontato una bella passeggiata, ma che è stata ripagata con "gusto". Certamente un piccolo aiuto per far conoscere le tipicità del territorio, soprattutto di una zona, come quella di caggiano, ricca di storia e di fede (Madonna di Viggiano e non solo). Hospitality, good cuisine with local and seasonal products, are recommended for a surprise visit. Congratulations to THE CAPTAIN who did not fail to meet expectations. Congratulations to the jurors who had a nice walk, but which was rewarded with "taste". Certainly a little help to make known the typical features of the territory, especially of an area, such as that of caggiano, rich in history and faith (Madonna di Viggiano and beyond).
a	alessandro pepe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mangiare in paese, in agriturismo subito stuzzica la fantasia alle portate abbondanti delle grandi abbuffate magari a prezzi stracciati, spesso in trattorie che, essendo modeste e senza pretese, sono delle grandi sale scarne se non addirittura squallide. A Caggiano dal Capitano tutt'altra storia...una deliziosa terrazza verandata a tutta veduta su una valle verde e brulla a tratti, che ricorda la zona delle crete senesi. Tutto concorre a riilassarvi, la cucina con la forza dei sapori ma resi con delicatezza ed equilibrio, il verde delle delle siepi che quasi toccano le vetrate senza ostacolare la visione del bel panorama che si gode mentre si conversa e si degusta. Così non ci si accorge di quante delizie si gustano e nemmeno il conto ve lo sottolinea. Molto onesti anche nel prezzo; ci tornerò di sicuro presto...fatelo anche voi...ne vale davvero la pena di arrampicarsi sulla fresca Caggiano! Eating in the village, on a farm, immediately whets the imagination to the abundant courses of large binges, perhaps at bargain prices, often in trattorias which, being modest and unpretentious, are large sparse if not downright squalid rooms. A completely different story in Caggiano dal Capitano ... a delightful veranda with a full view over a green and barren valley at times, reminiscent of the Crete Senesi area. Everything helps to relax you, the cuisine with the strength of flavors but rendered with delicacy and balance, the green of the hedges that almost touch the windows without obstructing the view of the beautiful panorama that can be enjoyed while talking and tasting. So you don't realize how many delights you enjoy and not even the bill points it out. Very honest also in the price; I'll be back for sure soon ... do it too ... it's really worth it to climb the fresh Caggiano!

Primi cavatelli fatti a mano ,ravioli come da tradizione locale. Carne alla brace agnello ,pollo ,vitello ,maiale patate fritte insalate tutto locale e per finire frutta di stagione dolce fatto in casa freschissimo e caffe alla napoletana..il tutto per 20 .25 euroa testa....non eccezionale come un locale raffinato ma tutto naturale . vi conviene prenotare..silvestro Homemade cuisine specialties appetizers of cured meats, capicollo ham, pancetta, salami, caciocavallo, buffalo mozzarella. First hand-made cavatelli, ravioli as per local tradition. Grilled meat lamb, chicken, veal, pork fried potatoes salads all local and to finish seasonal fruit fresh homemade dessert and Neapolitan coffee ... all for 20.25 euros per person .... not exceptional as a refined place but all natural. you should book .. silvestro
