FAHAM Restaurant

Purtroppo mi trovo costretta a recensire e dare un voto a 2 stelle (1 di incoraggiamento) a questo ristorante. In oltre 2 ore di attesa non siamo riusciti a ricevere il primo piatto ordinato (abbiamo mangiato solo l'antipasto, atteso per piu di un'ora) nonostante i coperti siano molto pochi, non più di 6 tavoli. La qualità del cibo sembra buona, ma la capacità di gestione della cucina è completamente insufficiente e i prezzi estremamente alti (50€ per i due antipasti in foto che siamo riusciti a mangiare + 1 bottiglia di vino e 1 di acqua) per questo livello amatoriale. Le ragazze in sala gentili, ma tutto il resto da rivedere.

Esperienza bellissima. Il ristorante offre cucina dell'isola di Réunion, un misto etnico fra cucina orientale, creola e malgascia dovuto ai flussi migratori avvenuti su questa piccola isoletta nell'oceano Pacifico. Ci hanno dato subito delle bruschette con pomodorini saporiti. Gli antipasti erano davvero buoni e particolari. Come portata principale abbiamo preso hamburger molto buono e del riso con fagioli e pancetta, altrettanto buono. Infine anche i dolci sono abbastanza particolari, ma soprattutto squisiti. Il personale è stato gentile e disponibile per ogni evenienza tra cui spiegare nel dettaglio ogni parte del menù. Il locale è molto carino e caratteristico. Prezzi contenuti e se si vuole risparmiare è presente anche su theFork. Ultra consigliato, veramente una gemma rara qui a Milano.

Viale Monza: una bella vetrina con eleganti tavolini; si apre una porta e si entra nel mondo della cucina creola: ampi tavoli, luce soffusa, musica sottofondo. La gentile cameriera ci offre dei crostini con pomodoro: antipasti con fritti misti (fantastici) e peperoni impanati ripieni di salsiccia (incredibili). Poi, marmitte creole, verdure, pancetta, riso, lenticchie. Tutto genuino e ben presentato. Alla fine due ottimi caffè. Qualità eccezionale. Prezzi adeguati. Ci torniamo presto.

Very very nice restaurant amazing staff explaining everything,- very good special food from Reunion. The wine is unbeatable as well.

Nice and cozy place, good cuisine with top service. Highly recommended to enjoy an evening.

When the new management took over and put up the green signage on the window back in January or February, I didn't "get it" so I had to look up the word "Faham" online and found out that it was "leaves of an orchid from Bourbon and Mauritius." The restaurant opened, then the pandemic hit right after the opening... Thankfully they did not go out of business and we finally got to try their fabulous food. The menu is a mixture of French, African, Chinese, and Indian influences, and much more. The waitress politely explains the menu, along with the introduction of the chef who used to work in kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants who skillfully unites all of these different flavors and colors together, reminiscent of his homeland. Here are the plates we've tried, which were all delicious and beautifully presented. - "Lamiz Bous" kréol: light and crunchy fried assortment of samosas, baccalà, different colored potatoes, etc. - Ceviche di Cernia e Sgombro al mango: just enough sweet and tang to make these meaty fishes shine - Rougali Salsiccia: served with lentils and rice; hearty goodness - Fahamburgher French: use of high quality beef, perfectly seasoned, with crispy golden fries - Cheesecake all'albicocca flambé al rhum e pistacchio: interesting take on cheesecake with good flavors, but the "cheesecake" part was too liquidy for my taste (would have liked it more dense). It's been a few days since our meal here and I am already salivating thinking about their juicy burger (I eat mostly plant-based diet these days, but definitely have a weak spot for a good burger)... I shall be back soon! Welcome to the neighborhood, Faham!

Great appertivo!!. We also tried hamburger and salmon steak for the main + dessert. All fantastic!
