C.è un sentiero Ufficiale ben visibile dalla strada , una passeggiata di 2 minuti porta alla vistita del Grandissimo Faggio Vetusto del pontone . Consiglio la visita Huge old beech. Entrati nel bosco e alzato lo sguardo su una piccola altura scorgiamo una sagoma di tronco scura dalla forma maestosa , una meraviglia di pianta in un sottobosco da legende antiche. Raggi di luce attraversano le piante circostanti aumentandone la maestosità. Indescrivibile meraviglia. We were looking for this secular Beech tree but having rough indications the doubt of finding it was great. Entered the woods and looked up on a small hill we see a dark trunk shape with a majestic shape, a marvel of plant in an undergrowth of ancient legends. Rays of light pass through the surrounding plants increasing their majesty. Indescribable wonder.

Si parcheggia in zona (di fronte al sentiero del bosco c'è una piccola discesa con uno spiazzo) e si entra subito dopo un piccolo percorso nel bosco. Siamo stati anche circondati da cavalli lasciati liberi a pascolare, con tanto di puledrini al seguito. Magical place, living the big beech was a surprising experience to be repeated for sure. Trovarlo è semplice, sta a 200 metri dalla strada statale, si raggiunge in pochi minuti, ed è talmente grande tra gli altri faggi che lo circondano da non passare inosservato. Nella faggeta vi sono altre piante secolari, ma questo faggio è veramente enorme, da non perdere.
