A nice place. Perfect location for visiting both Naples and Vesuvius/Pompeii/etc, very well connected by train/bus. Very quiet neighborhood. Clean sheets, sockets near the bed, individual night lights and nice staff, reasonable prices. I found the lack of AC to be a plus, rooms are not hot at all. The only minus is that Wi-Fi only works on ground floor, but that's it.

It's a strange place. I've been there for 5 days and there was a boy hanging around, obviously in bad condition from drugs, asking me if I could share my bed with him. He was tolerated, but not well threaten by the people responsible there... I shared a room with 5 old men, two of them have been there already for a longer time. Somehow I felt like it was some kind of "Heartbreak Hotel". Apart from that I really liked it. If you go there as a bigger group and have a room for your own it will be a nice place. There is plenty of space and the accommodation/furnishings are ok for the price you pay. It's located at the heart of Portici. The street is a market in the early hours of the day and typical for the mediterranean region. The train station of Portici is nearby and will bring you to Napoli for 20-25min. There is a modern car park nearby if you want to leave your car at a safe place. If you plan to visit Naples, Pompei, Torre del Greco and the Vesuv then this Hostel is in the centre of them all.

I really liked this hostel as it is in a good area, about a ten minute walk to Herculaneum, which was a real highlight of my trip. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. It lacks being a five star in my opinion as the breakfast is alright but nothing very special.

Great staff. Worst thing was the lack of A/C or an effective alternative like a decent fan. In the end of June the heat was pretty unbearable even after sunset. Other than that it was a great place to stay. Loved the music theme everywhere

Loved my stay here. It was very affordable and clean, and exceeded my expectations. The staff are very welcoming, kind, and personable. Francesca and Pippo are two of the staff I had a pleasure of meeting. Their customer service was one of the best I encountered during my week in Italy. They gave me recommendations on dinner and made me feel very comfortable. Bravo Fabric Hostel! I will be back! On suggestions, it’s not directly in Naples but a short train ride away (costs 1.6 euro in each direction). It is also a quick 10 min walk to the train station. There are a bunch of small shops around it so if you want to buy souvenirs, the prices here are probably better than in Naples. Not all of their rooms have AC but you can request it. Overall, this place is the best bang for your buck!

Great hostel, we were given the option to upgrade our room to have our own bathroom for only an extra 5€ per night (remember to bring your own soap!). The public bathrooms were acceptable, so they would have worked as well. The room itself was very small but all you really need! The breakfast options were quite poor (basically only cereal or packaged croissant). We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, all of the staff were so helpful and caring. They were some of the nicest people I have ever met! They went out of their way for us with anything we needed and one night even walked us to a pharmacy before it closed since we were having trouble finding it. We were also able to order pizza directly to the hostel for free! All in all, it was a great stay, one which I will never forget!

We stayed a night here during our naples trip, the place is near to naples city and the other attractions pompeii and from there we travelled to the amalfi coast by taking a train to salerno. The train station is near aswell around 10 minutes of walk.

Absolutely perfect hostel apart from the stairs although it is a good workout just don't forget anything when you go out to save yourself having to go all the way back up
