Arrivato a casa mi accorgo delle pessime condizioni dell'oggetto che doveva venir regalato per Natale.
I bought a studio lamp on display as it was the last piece left (paid full price though).
When I get home, I notice the poor condition of the object that was supposed to be given as a gift for Christmas.

I went to another center and found it at a lower price.
