Fu indirizzato, dal vescovo dell'epoca, nell'alveo delle Povere Donne di San Damiano ( S.Chiara). Esso apparteneva ai signori di Rocca Accarina, infatti nella seconda metà del 1200 era badessa Augusta, figlia di Accarino divenuto frate Illuminato uno dei primi seguaci di Francesco. Attualmente di proprietà privata, versa in pessime condizioni. La via breve per arrivarci include il passaggio su una proprietà privata che non può impedire il transito. Altrimenti c'è un sentiero che fa un bel giro intorno la valle ma trova sopra al complesso monastico e non è sempre facile scendervi. Oltre alla chiesa si può vedere o resti del monastero ancora con alcuni ambienti coperti. Beautiful Benedictine church surrounded by greenery and placed on a natural hill. The unsafe remains are legible and well preserved. The short way to get there includes passing on a private property that cannot prevent transit.
