★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa di San Salvatore è la più antica di Morrone. A due passi dal castello, è situata in un posto molto panoramico. All’ingresso c’è una colonna antica che in periodo medioevale comunicava che la chiesa fungeva da rifugio per i fuggiaschi. Su un’altra facciata si vedono le teste, consumatissime dal tempo, di due fiere. La chiesa oggi è una struttura polivalente. Di grande interesse storico e paesaggistico.

The Church of San Salvatore is the oldest in Morrone. A stone's throw from the castle, it is located in a very panoramic position. At the entrance there is an ancient column which in medieval times communicated that the church served as a refuge for fugitives. On another facade you can see the heads, worn over time, of two fairs. The church today is a multipurpose structure. Of great historical and landscape interest.
