★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is giving contradicting information first telling me that with my card type I can only take the car with online booking and this will work just fine - and next rejecting my online booking with prepaid and checked-in car and deposit, europcar confirmed e-mail and payment confirmation from the bank. Leaving me without the car, money and place to stay for the night. As for the reason, I was shown a printed nameless paper, saying "visa electronic only". Mine is Mastercard by the way, nothing special. I don't expect them to break the rules and take cards that they are not supposed to. I'm only against the rude behavior, ill advising and last minute cancellation without showing me an official reason. Non of the steps taken during online booking and check-in gave me any hint that certain card types can be a reason for booking cancellation. It was only saying that I need to have the card with me. Very unfortunate office for a great company like europcar. Never using this service again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the car, the keys, process was a little long and took photos of the damage to the car prior to even starting it.
They have now charged me $400+ for the damage that was there earlier. I highly recommend using another company or taking photos and videos. Absolute scum bags. I've never had problems with them before and now because of this I would caution anyone looking to get a rental car from them.
I have taken it up with my bank account and will contact fair trading with my evidence.

I rented one car for a week with full insurance for which I payed about 20 euro for every day. The man in the office adviced us not to check the car because we have full insurance so we dont need to do that - ofcourse we believed because always is this. There was one scratch on the car but this seemed not to be our problem.
On the day of return the car the man from this car rental have checked the car and spoke that there is the scratch, but its ok because we have full insurance and asked us to sign the returning car paper.
After this they took from my card almost 100 euro for the ADMINISTRATION FEE to proceed the damage.
I rented in my life many cars always with full insurance for stay with calm. Never in my life happened something like this that despite of paying all this money for full insurance still they have stolen the money.
After calls and email they spoke that there is nothing that they can do.
Never take the cas from this company.

Thank you Lorenzo for explaining everything that I needed to know and I appreciate how polite and friendly you were. Now I think that I would always choose Europcar everywhere I travel.

Great service, there were some additional fee that we expected, like additional driver and one way return
When we decided to extend the rent , I just called the Europcar Verona , they answer pretty quick and the guy did the adjustment . No worries
Although the rent was with full insurance, we checked the car together anyway for existing scratches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used europcar because i have generally had good experiences with them but this agency seems to be a franchise - the car was full when i took it back, the guy at the office was on his own and took the keys without checking, though i offered to show him the car - then i received an invoice with a large charge for refuelling - i have complained to europcar but so far no response - i won't juse them again and suggest avoiding the verona office
