Consegna vettura e restituzione molto veloci.Auto in ottime condizioni, peccato per la puzza di fumo, altrimenti tutto perfetto.

Al telefono ci avevano detto 45 euro per due giorni, andiamo al negozio il prezzo si è alzato a 85 euro per il supplemento under 23 che sul sito calcolava in maniera diversa (ci diceva 54 euro totali). Follia
On the phone we were told 45 euros for two days, let's go to the shop the price has risen to 85 euros for the under 23 supplement which on the site calculated in a different way (it told us 54 euros total). Folly

Siamo arrivati a Europcar di via Aretusa per un auto sostitutiva fornita dall'assistenza a causa di grosso incidente all'auto di proprietà. Avevamo diritto a 5 giorni. Abbiamo chiesto un'auto delle stesse caratteristiche della nostra (piccola) per non avere difficoltà a parcheggiare in città. Prima del ritiro l'addetto di Europcar ci ha anticipato telefonicamente che "avremmo potuto scegliere fra le vetture disponibili". Al momento del ritiro, solo un'ora dopo, ci è stato detto che "c'era solo la 500X", peraltro diesel. Al nostro disappunto ci è stato detto che questa era l'unica disponibile (l'addetto era la stessa persona che ci aveva contattato al telefono) ma che nel pomeriggio sarebbero rientrate altre autovetture. Gli abbiamo chiesto come mai non ce l'avesse anticipato al telefono invece di farci andare alla mattina. Non ha ovviamente risposto. Nel pomeriggio, invece, l'unica altra auto disponibile era una CLIO che dovevano andare a prendere in aeroporto. Clio e 500X differiscono di 2 mm: "ci volete prendere in giro?" Ci siamo tenuti la 500. Alla riconsegna ci è stato fatto notare che avevamo fatto un graffio sul parafango. Ovviamente non l'avevamo fatto noi e ovviamente non risultava sul documento del ritiro in quanto, fortunatamente, capita l'antifona, abbiamo sottoscritto l'assicurazione aggiuntiva per abbattere tutte le franchigie (18 euro al giorno) oltre al blocco di 250 euro sulla carta di credito. Il telefono del negozio risulta sempre occupato (probabilmente quando l'addetto si allontana dal negozio lo stacca). Assolutamente inaffidabili! Insomma, oltre all'ingente danno alla nostra auto accaduto non a causa nostra, abbiamo goduto di un servizio che avrebbe dovuto agevolarci ed invece ci ha procurato una grossa scocciatura e tanta perdita di tempo. Mai più Europcar con cui peraltro ci eravamo già trovati male in Grecia...ma questa volta non abbiamo potuto scegliere
We arrived at Europcar in via Aretusa for a replacement car provided by the assistance due to a major accident to the car owned. We were entitled to 5 days. We asked for a car with the same characteristics as ours (small) in order not to have difficulty parking in the city. Before the pick-up, the Europcar employee told us by telephone that "we could choose from the available cars". At the time of withdrawal, just an hour later, we were told that "there was only the 500X", which is diesel. To our disappointment we were told that this was the only one available (the attendant was the same person who had contacted us on the phone) but that other cars would return in the afternoon. We asked him why he hadn't anticipated it on the phone instead of letting us go in the morning. He obviously did not reply. In the afternoon, however, the only other car available was a CLIO that they had to pick up at the airport. Clio and 500X differ by 2 mm: "Are you kidding us?" We kept the 500. On return it was pointed out that we had made a scratch on the fender. Obviously we did not do it and obviously it did not appear on the withdrawal document as, fortunately, the antiphon happens, we signed the additional insurance to reduce all the deductibles (18 euros per day) in addition to the 250 euros block on the card of credit. The shop phone is always busy (probably when the clerk leaves the shop disconnects it). Absolutely unreliable! In short, in addition to the huge damage to our car that happened not because of us, we enjoyed a service that should have facilitated us and instead caused us a big annoyance and a lot of waste of time. No more Europcar with which we had already had a bad time in Greece ... but this time we couldn't choose

Consigliato per gli amanti delle sorprese. Aggiorno riportando la cordiale chiamata dell'addetta Europcar che minacciava querele. Ottimo uso dei dati personali (tra l'altro mai concessi visto che non ho firmato alcun contratto) questo si da denuncia.
Recommended for lovers of surprises. I update by reporting the friendly call from the Europcar clerk threatening lawsuits. Excellent use of personal data (among other things never granted since I have not signed any contract) this is reported.

1) Mi è stata data una macchina con un'indescrivibile puzza di fumo e i vetri totalmente unti dal fumo. 2) Non ho ricevuto alcuna assistenza per il montaggio del seggiolino per la mia bambina (che ha dovuto respirare la tremenda puzza di fumo) 3) Non è stato fatto alcun sopralluogo insieme in merito alle condizioni del veicolo sia alla consegna che alla restituzione, tuttavia a seguito di questa sono stato chiamato in quanto "inaspettatamente" era emerso un segno sul paraurti che "prima non c'era" 4) Ho dimenticato un porta tablet da poggiatesta, ma "inaspettatamente" di quello non se ne è accorto nessuno e a distanza di poche ore avevano già dato via la macchina..
1) I was given a car with an indescribable smell of smoke and the windows totally greasy with smoke. 2) I have not received any assistance for the assembly of the seat for my little girl (who had to breathe the terrible smell of smoke) 3) No inspection was carried out together regarding the condition of the vehicle both on delivery and on return, however following this I was called because "unexpectedly" a sign emerged on the bumper that "it wasn't there before" 4) I forgot a tablet holder for the headrest, but "unexpectedly" no one noticed it and after a few hours they had already given away the car ..

First I want to make sure that you know I do not fault the employee, he only had what he had to work with. We had decided not to rent at the airport and pay expensive parking in the ZTL central zone where our hotel was located when the train makes it so easy and inexpensive to get into town from Malpensa Airport. However when we went to get the car at this tiny office there were only 2 cars at this location and all other facilities in town were closed until after Christmas. The car of the class we reserved had no spare tire, forget that it was filthy outside and quite dinged up. But as we were driving to St. Moritz and Innsbruck it was not prudent to go without a spare. The only other vehicle was the smallest class, Lancia Ypsilon, a diesel that turned out to be A-OK as a vehicle but it was filthy inside and out and beat to XXXX with a major rear fender bash and innumerable scratches and dents, but it did have a spare tire. Luckily the rear just hid our carry on bags. It wasn't until we were on the tollway with frozen slush and spray being thrown up on our windshield that we found the washer bottle was frozen solid. It thawed once in a underground parking lot but even after adding washer fluid for the deep freeze it never worked again. The entire trip we would have to pull over and douse a gallon bottle of washer fluid over the windshield while the other one worked the wipers. The moral of the story, we should have gone back to Malpensa where they have a large selection and get the car we needed and not the one that was all that was left when needing a vehicle for more than around town.
