★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was easily the best part of my stay in Sicily! The location is absolutely stunning and perfect for a day outside of the city. I also learned a lot about the wine making process. And the tasting was delicious!!! Both the wines and the food for EXCELLENT. Highly, highly recommend!

Understanding the family heritage from Nicola provided a perfect backdrop to the tour of the estate where you get to see and hear about both the restoration and history of the winery - a fresh and immersive concept that was really enjoyable….and that’s even before the tasting!
Vera, our knowledgeable Sommelier presented us with a number of different wines with food pairings. It was really informative to learn about the carefully picked wines and enjoying the matching delicious Sicilian dishes - all with a modern twist.
Thank you Etna Urban Winery team, love what you guys are doing and hope to come back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a truly fantastic experience and is an absolute must do when you are in Catania. As the name suggests, this beautiful winery can be found nestled in the suburbs of Catania just 15 minutes out of the main city centre. They offered us detailed help in guiding and organizing transport there. If you've been to Catania before then you'll know that getting around by anything other than foot can be tricky.
The winery tour and tasting offered takes you through the rich family history of the place but also through the history of the region and the uniqueness of Mount Etna wines.
The tasting offered encompasses different regions of wine on the mountainside and you really get an understanding of all that Etna wines have to offer. The wine was paired with some incredible food that was fantastic.
The owners and sommelier are incredible. Such warm honest people. This absolutely was the highlight of our stay in Catania.
There is also a gorgeous dog that you might be lucky to meet!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This winery is the best kept secret of Sicily!! The history, the beauty, the wine, the food, the staff, the dog, everything is just unreal! The grounds of this estate are jaw dropping beautiful. Even more beautiful, the knowledge the staff had about the history of this winery and the wine itself. Every inch of the property is a picture perfect experience. Every moment feels like the best part of the tour, but then the next is even better! I don’t know how they do it, but they do! This winery is amazing, but even more amazing, the wine and food pairing!! The five star food is to die for! And the perfect pairing they do with the wine is unreal!! This was our favorite experience we had in all of Sicily. You will NOT regret it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic, new, local vineyard and cantina on the outskirts of Catania. Great for a mid-day lunch break from the hustle, and also a lovely, romantic evening rendezvous.
Courteous and knowledgeable staff; antique vineyard and wine press; looking forward to seeing how they grow.
Can’t wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience at Etna Urban Winery. 2 hour guided tour of the winery with lots of interesting info on geology and history. The place is a real gem! You feel you are walking in history. Our guide Vera was amazing. After the tour came the wine tasting. A brut, a white, a rose and a red, all from different Etna wineries, all exceptional. Paired with gourmet tasting meals, that were out of this world! We tasted the winter menu, and we were blown away. Would be back to eat it again before it’s changed, and would be back to try their menus for the other seasons. Highly recommended experience for food, wine and history lovers!
