★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consigliatissimo se amate fare trekking in montagna, in questo caso sull' Etna. L'escursione ha una durata di 5 ore e si arriva fino a 2.900 metri. Paesaggi lunari soprattutto se innevati. Magnifica escursione e guide super preparate.
 Highly recommended if you love trekking in the mountains, in this case on Etna. The excursion lasts 5 hours and reaches up to 2,900 meters. Lunar landscapes especially if covered with snow. Magnificent excursion and super trained guides.

Sul territorio dell'Etna sono presenti diverse egenzie di escursioni e gruppi di guide alpine e vulcanologiche, ma ETNA TOURING è unica nel suo genere
- introduzione dell'escursione prima ancora di pagare il biglietto
- scarpe, calzettoni, giacche, bastoni ed elmetti compresi nel prezzo
- briefing con spiegazione dettagliata subito prima della partenza
- ultima e non meno importante, Guide Alpine e vulcanologiche esperte, con ottima conoscenza del territorio.
Le varie tappe per raggiungere la vetta vengono ben attenzionate e spiegate dalle guide e la vista sui crateri a quota 3000m ripaga assolutamente da tutte le fatiche.
Alla fine dell'escursione ci è stata consegnata anche una mappa dettagliata del parco dell'Etna, con indicati i percorsi e le tappe raggiunte.
Sicuramente la mia prossima volta sarà nuovamente con ETNA TOURING

On the Etna territory there are several excursion agencies and groups of alpine and volcanological guides, but ETNA TOURING is unique in its kind.
- introduction of the excursion even before paying the ticket
- shoes, socks, jackets, sticks and helmets included in the price
- briefing with detailed explanation just before departure
- last and not least, expert Alpine and volcanological guides, with excellent knowledge of the territory.
The various stages to reach the summit are well attended and explained by the guides and the view of the craters at an altitude of 3000m absolutely repays all the efforts.
At the end of the excursion we were also given a detailed map of the Etna park, indicating the routes and the stages reached.
Definitely my next time will be again with ETNA TOURING

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First part of the trip: excellent. Our guides were supportive and patient enough to allow anyone a pleasant journey.
But as soon as we started descending, they kept hurrying everyone, with very short (if any) breaks to take some rest, drink, pictures, etc, because they were worried we'd be late for the cableway (which wouldn't have been a problem at all, if only we would have started earlier).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trip was being promoted on the bus that goes to the rifugio sapienza starting from Catania. We were a bit skeptical that a 5 hours hike was proposed just to everybody... In fact in the price, walking sticks(of very poor quality), shoes, socks and jackets were provided to the less equipped participants. Luckily we had: a very good group(even though quite large: about 15 people for each guide) a fantastic day, friendly guides. So, even though we started one hour later than expected, we managed everything. With a bit of luck you can experience an amazing trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went up the Crater Trek with Pietro and it was one of the most spectacular day hikes ever! Our guide seemed very knowledgeable about the dangers of Mount Etna and was definitely able to take us to places that we would not have dared to venture on our own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went on an excellent tour to an altitude of 2,900m to view the craters of Etna, led by Santi. He was very informative, providing lots of information about volcano types, and the geography of the area. The tour was run at a sensible pace, stopping for lunch overlooking the volcano, and visiting a lava cave and a place where the ground was so hot that newspapers spontaneously caught fire! A really well organised tour!
