★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Escursione oggi di mezza giornata ai versanti est e nord dell’Etna, risalendo da Zafferana, ammirando i diversi paesaggi che cambiano, le colate del passato, alcuni crateri, sia da sopra che da sotto (crateri a bottoniera di 300 anni fa). La guida Francesco è bravissimo, attento, organizzatissimo, competente, gentile, disponibile. Il tour non è a buon mercato ma ne vale veramente la pena!
Half-day excursion today to the east and north sides of Etna, going up from Zafferana, admiring the different landscapes that change, the flows of the past, some craters, both from above and from below (button craters from 300 years ago). The guide Francesco is very good, attentive, very organized, competent, kind, helpful. The tour is not cheap but it is really worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Escursione di mezza giornata, siamo saliti in Jeep (dei bestioni) dopodiché abbiamo camminato un bel po' sull etna e ammirato panorami,crateri, colate di lava del passato e siamo anche scesi in un cratere spento. La nostra guida Francesco preparatissimo simpatico ed esperto, sa rispondere in tutte le lingue dunque le escursioni possono essere in diverse lingue. Bellissima esperienza, consigliatissimo
Half day excursion, we got into the Jeep (of the beasts) and then we walked a lot on Etna and admired views, craters, lava flows of the past and we also went down to an extinct crater. Our guide Francesco, very well prepared, sympathetic and expert, knows how to answer in all languages therefore the excursions can be in different languages. Beautiful experience, highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo fatto questa gita di circa 3h, camminando a 2000mt su sabbia vulcanica e neve, su e giù per i crateri in un
paesaggio meraviglioso, quasi lunare, sempre con la sommità dell’Etna in bella vista.
Siamo stati sulla bocca di un cratere ancora attivo e siamo scesi in una camera lavica spenta, abbiamo visto una colata lavica che ha
coperto la strada e distrutto abitazioni.
Tutto ciò grazie alla nostra guida Francesco, simpatico, preparatissimo, molto organizzato (ti fornisce di scarpe e piumino, indispensabili), sempre disponibile…
Assolutamente una gita molto consigliata, da fare solo con lui!!!
We did this trip of about 3h, walking at 2000mt on volcanic sand and snow, up and down the craters in a
wonderful, almost lunar landscape, always with the summit of Etna in plain sight.
We were on the mouth of a still active crater and we went down into an extinguished lava chamber, we saw a lava flow that has
covered the road and destroyed housing.
All this thanks to our guide Francesco, nice, very well prepared, very organized (he provides you with shoes and a duvet, which are essential), always available ...
Absolutely a highly recommended trip, to be done only with him !!!
