★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'eremo risale al medioevo, ma non si sa nulla della sua storia prima del XVI sec. E' ampliato nel 1625 circa. Una quarantina d'anni dopo viene ad abitarvi un eremita siciliano, Pietro Calisciuri. La comunità da lui fondata si estingue nel 1952. Dal 2003 l'eremo ha ritrovato la sua vocazione di luogo di preghiera e di accoglienza.
The hermitage dates back to the Middle Ages, but nothing is known of its history before the sixteenth century. It was enlarged around 1625. Some forty years later to live there is a Sicilian hermit Pietro Calisciuri. The community he founded expires in 1952. Since 2003 the Hermitage has found his vocation as a place of prayer and hospitality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ultimamente purtroppo la meditazione e l'isolamento spirituale sono difficile da attuare visto l'affluenza di visitatori delle vicine cascate. D'altra parte aver trasformato un luogo naturale in una spiaggietta ben attrezzata non può che portare del benessere in una zona dell'entroterra poco frequentata fino a poco tempo fa.
Unfortunately, meditation and spiritual isolation are difficult to implement lately given the influx of visitors to the nearby waterfalls. On the other hand, having transformed a natural place into a well-equipped beach can only bring well-being to an area of the hinterland that was not very busy until recently.
