Simple and genuine food, kindness and sympathy. Excellent desserts and more than fair account. Small and familiar environment, dogs welcome.
A	Alessandro Cester on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oggi siamo stati a far visita all'Eremo dei Romiti da Barbara. Camminata di media difficoltà ricompensata da una bellissima veduta sulla valle del Cadore. Abbiamo prenotato il pranzo, siamo stati accolti da Barbara, che ci ha fatto subito accomodare al tavolo, dopo poco ci ha servito delle ottime pietanze che abbiamo gradito, dagli affettati ai primi e ai secondi per finire con i dolci fatti in casa, accompagnati da un buon bicchiere di vino. Barbara e stata molto gentile e semplice nella sua professionalità. Rimasti contentissimi del posto e dell'accoglienza ci torneremo il prossimo anno. Today we visited Barbara's Hermitage of the Romiti. Walk of medium difficulty rewarded by a beautiful view over the Cadore valley. We booked lunch, we were greeted by Barbara, who immediately made us sit at the table, after a while she served us some excellent dishes that we liked, from cold cuts to first and second courses to finish with homemade desserts, accompanied by a good glass of wine. Barbara was very kind and simple in her professionalism. Remained delighted with the place and the welcome we will return next year.
E	Eleonora Granzotto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La camminata è di un ora e mezza per arrivare al rifugio ,è un po impegnativa ma molto bella e immersa nel bosco . Si percorre praticamente la via crucis con le 15 tappe dove si arriva alla piccola cappella . Proseguendo altri 3 minuti si arriva al rifugio. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto mangiare lì perché era tutto prenotato , noi pregustavamo già le tagliatelle al ragù di cervo e gli gnocchi con fonduta di formaggi,peccato! Siamo riusciti comunque a mangiare un buon tagliere prima che arrivassero troppe persone . La signora è molto cordiale ! Quindi il consiglio è di prenotare . Bellissima mattinata . The walk takes an hour and a half to get to the refuge, it is a bit challenging but very beautiful and immersed in the woods. You practically go through the Via Crucis with the 15 stages where you arrive at the small chapel. Continuing another 3 minutes you arrive at the refuge. Unfortunately we could not eat there because it was all booked, we were already looking forward to the tagliatelle with venison sauce and the gnocchi with cheese fondue, too bad! We still managed to eat a good platter before too many people arrived. The lady is very friendly! So the advice is to book. Beautiful morning.

Di ritorno ci siamo fermati qui al rifugio per pranzare, taglieri di affettati ottimi, compreso il vino. Abbiamo assaggiato anche alcune grappe ed erano tutte eccezionali! Sicuramente ci tornerò, ovviamente sempre con i colleghi ? rifugio consigliato! I went there with work colleagues after hiking in the mountains. On the way back we stopped here at the refuge for lunch, excellent cold cuts, including wine. We also tasted some grappas and they were all exceptional! I will definitely go back, obviously always with colleagues ? recommended refuge!
J	Jo Wa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hiked up to this for lunch and it was lovey. Staff was excellent and spoke to us in English. Food was delicious and well-earned after an uphill hike!! The dining room is very cozy and equipped with electricity/toilets, etc. Beautiful views. Great dessert as well. Highly recommend the hike and the restaurant. Just know the trail up to the top is all uphill, but is equipped with many benches along the way and well worth it for the reward at the top.
