Da ist es mitunter im Gasthaus preiswerter, köstlicher und mit Serviceleistung. Apple strudel and plum cake are OK from not outstanding. The price of 8.14 for both seems to me quite expensive. It is sometimes cheaper in the inn, delicious and with service.

A small cake costs 33 euros. In other places I have paid so much for a large cake. It couldn't convince me in terms of taste either.

Mi hanno anche regalato una confezione di dolcetti al cacao. Personale cordiale. We bought a lot of typical products, including strudel, as a souvenir for us, friends and family and I must say that it was all really very good. They also gave me a pack of cocoa treats. Il negozio è pulito, ordinato e molto fornito. Tutta la merce esposta è invitante e il personale è gentile e sorridente. Sicuramente ci tornerò quando sarò di nuovo a Merano. Consigliato! I bought two strudels and some slices of sacher cake to take home and they are delicious! I think it's the best strudel I've ever tasted! The shop is clean, tidy and well stocked. All the merchandise on display is inviting and the staff are polite and smiling. I will definitely stay there again when I am in Merano again. Advised!
N	Nisrine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esperienza pessima. Ho ordinato una torta di compleanno panna/cioccolata accordandomi con le signore che ci lavorano per avere sopra delle decorazioni con tema make-up. Ho dato loro la foto di riferimento e mi hanno detto che era tutto fattibile, ci siamo accordate su tutti i dettagli. Quando sono andata a ritirarla mi hanno presentato la torta con delle decorazioni imbarazzanti, fatte sicuramente da una mano inesperta e fra l'altro non erano presenti tutte le cose su cui ci eravamo accordate, ma giusto due cose piccole e senza senso. Una delle signore che ci lavora mi ha dato conferma che le decorazioni erano effettivamente ridicole e brutte. Oltre ad essere una torta brutta da vedere anche il gusto era pessimo, era asciutta pesante e difficile da digerire. Ho pagato 50 euro e ho preso la torta per forza con mal umore perché purtroppo il compleanno era il giorno stesso. Mi chiedo ma perché tengono un libro in pasticceria con tutte le torte decorate professionalmente se poi devono dare ai clienti cose cosí pessime e brutte?? (La torta è finita nel secchio delle immondizie). Bad experience. I ordered a cream / chocolate birthday cake and agreed with the ladies who work there to have make-up themed decorations on it. I gave them the reference photo and they told me it was all feasible, we agreed on all the details. When I went to collect it they presented me the cake with embarrassing decorations, certainly made by an inexperienced hand and among other things, not all the things we had agreed on were present, but just two small and meaningless things. One of the ladies who works there confirmed to me that the decorations were actually ridiculous and ugly. Besides being a bad cake to look at it also tasted bad, it was dry heavy and hard to digest. I paid 50 euros and took the cake with a bad mood because unfortunately the birthday was the same day. I wonder why they keep a book in the bakery with all the professionally decorated cakes if they have to give customers such bad and ugly things? (The cake ended up in the garbage pail.)
