★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo mercatino di natale dove si possono trovare moltissime idee regalo e prodotti tipici enogastronomici del sud Tirolo anche da mangiare e bere al momento. Si trovano lungo la passeggiata che costeggia il torrente Passirio praticamente in centro. Di giorno è bellissimo ma è quando si accendono le luci di natale che diventano proprio un posto incantato, e proprio al di là del ponte si può raggiungere una pista di pattinaggio sul ghiaccio all'aperto con bar annesso. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti grandi e piccini. Senza contare che Merano è già di per sé una bellissima città da visitare
Beautiful Christmas market where you can find many gift ideas and typical food and wine products of South Tyrol also to eat and drink at the moment. They are located along the promenade that runs along the Passirio stream practically in the center. During the day it is beautiful but it is when the Christmas lights are turned on that they become an enchanted place, and just beyond the bridge you can reach an outdoor ice skating rink with an adjoining bar. I highly recommend it to everyone young and old. Not to mention that Merano is in itself a beautiful city to visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein Weihnachtsmakt mit Tradition. Ja, auch hier gibt es viele Stände mit Getränken und Essen. Trotzdem kommt hier, im Gegensatz zu München und Nürnberg, aus meiner Kindheit das Christkindlmarktfeeling sofort wieder auf. Die Kunstgegenstände stammen hier aus dem lokalen Handwerk und kein Billigimport aus Fernost. Ja durchschlendern, da und dort mal was Essen oder trinken, ratschen, runter kommen und die Ankunft erarten. Das ist hier sehr gut möglich.

A Christmas market with tradition. Yes, there are also many stands with drinks and food here. Nevertheless, in contrast to Munich and Nuremberg, the Christmas market feeling comes back from my childhood immediately. The art objects come from the local craft and no cheap imports from the Far East. Stroll through, here and there something to eat or drink, ratchet, come down and wait for the arrival. This is very possible here.
