Appena entri ti incanti a guardare qualsiasi cosa ci sia, dai vini alle ceramiche ricercate e raffinate. Il titolare é una persona squisita. Noi non possiamo che dare 5 stelle. Complimenti per tutto. Der Wein ist köstlich und die Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Straße verleiten zum Dolce Vita von Catania. Ein Besuch empfiehlt sich. A very nice vinotheque, run by a friendly and helpful Sicilian by choice. The wine is delicious and the street seating invites you to the dolce vita of Catania. A visit is recommended.

It came hightly recommended and is just minutes from the Fontana dell'Elefante and just steps from Cathedral of Sant'Agata so it is super easy to find. I was immediately taken by the warmth of Aldo and Sylvia who made me feel welcome in their store and in their city. They support the small local farmers and winemakers so you know you are getting the best products that you can't find anywhere else in the world. You can try many items and the owner has such a vast knowledge of local wine and products that learned more from her in 5 minutes then I did from any tour or tasting. Each item is picked with love. Sylvia truly went above and beyond showing me how to properly test olive oil for flavour and making local wine acessable and fun. She was also able speak extensively about every product in English (which saved us all from my very poor Italian) and welcomed all of my 1 million questions with ease and enthusiasm. All my purchases were wrapped with every care for my travel plans and then she even gave me local restaruant recommendations (at my request) that were just perfect. People who care this much about what they do are so rare that you would be crazy to not want to experience it for yourself. I was very lucky to visit this Catania gem and my sommelier boyfriend (who is the proud recipient of the beautiful wine I brought home totally agrees ?). This store has a new loyal customer and friend. I thank them with all my heart for making my trip so special.

They were an unexpected source of information for good restaurants off the beaten path. And the pistachio cream they make!!Delicious!! We got all sorts of goods here from liqueurs and wine to spreads to pastries. And it's gluten free, which is great for celiacs like me! They are hands down the best find in Catania.

The lady behind the counter was very helpful and told us all about their wines and what makes them special. Absolutely lovely. They have a good selection of liquors and all sorts of Sicilian delicacies, too. Pop in for a chat about wine and a taste if you like.
