★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the chefs tasting menu, which included a puff pastry with salami (disappointing); Jerusalem artichoke, which generally I love but it was a bit over cooked; duck lacking succulent flavour...dessert was forgettable (but I’m not the biggest fan of dessert to start with). I did enjoy the mushroom gnocchi. I was very much looking forward to my experience yet left feeling unsatisfied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful interior and exceptional atmosphere. 5 star! Service on top level. Wine decoration is amazing. Wine menu is very broad, too. Try the local Canelli red wines. The food was very good (we all had menues), however, for a decorated place like this, it was not at the strentgh as seen around. But we will go back, may be the family will have an even better day, then I go up to 5 stars. ;-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our visit at the Ristorante Enoteca di Canelli - immediately we entered this special wine cave restaurant with smiles and Buona serras - excellente
We started with a wonderful palette cleanser and were they delicious. I had the local regional dish Bagna Cauda as an appetizer - I think it might of had saffron in it - yum
For dinner I had the beef and it was rich and flavorful with the courses we ordered I was glad I didn't order more. For dessert they brought a peach melba spoon with what tasted like chocolate pop rocks in it.
Definitely a keeper - reservations are recommended. Fantastic wine list

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a group of 12 and had the surprise menu with wine accompaniment. We expected more. The location is nice the dessert and the starter were very good but the other dishes were average. The staff missed out to explain what dishes and wine they served. The selection of wine was poor.
