★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve found these two little boutique walking in Calle della Mandola, in one you a have a lot of different choices if you’re looking for a great mask! In the second one you will find some beautiful glass articles totally handmade in Murano. The two owners are great and very kind! Totally reccomend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On our way to our hotel, we passed by the store and were interested in a beautiful vase to buy for our new appartement in Paris. We entered the store and it was empty not even the soul of a salesman or saleswoman to welcome us. We were looking at the muranos for about six minutes, when an old lady walked into the store and before saying "hello" she told us in italian that any murano in the store costed at least 950 €. We replied also in italian that we didn’t ask her anything and she snaped that she’d rather say the prices from the begining. She continued a harsh and rude discussion with my husband in italian, when we lost our patience and left the store promising ourselves that we would tell everybody to avoid going to this store with its rude owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found these two charming stores centrally located on Calle de la Mandola. The owners speak English and are extremely friendly and helpful. The Murano glass pieces are exquisite and quite unique even for a city where glass stores abound. The other store on the opposite side of the "calle" has an array of hand made masks. We had our purchase shipped home.
Since there's a dizzying number of stores in Venice this might help your decision a little easier if you want to take home a special souvenir.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be aware! Looks like a trap… the owner did not want to provide the name of the artist unless I proved I was buying the sculpture. I left and I hope others will not get the same treatment. She said she is looking to get back the foreign tourists ( she misses them like the air, she said). I hope they will skip the shop and go straight to Murano, to find professional explaining you the details and beauty of the glass, ( I saw a sculpture in Murano and I hesitated to buy it there when I saw it in the shop I thought I was lucky I got a second chance … but this place is not good!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place . The customer service was amazing . They gave us a nice discount and were so nice and friendly and the pieces that they have are just simply breathtaking. I bought two pieces from them and had them ship to my home in Delray beach Florida . The way it arrived and the way it was package wow simply perfection . I only paid a small fee of import taxes but so worth it . I will definitely will come back and buy more things firm this shop when I’m in town .
