β β β β β Definitely the best pub in Perugia. The owner Natale is specialized in craft beers and that is what they offer at Elfo. IPA, stouts, porters, lambic, lager or whatever you like they have it. Every week they have a new beer on draft to try, so watch out, Elfo is highly addictive. Other than beer they have a basic offering of wine, drinks and some food. Atmosphere is great, staff is very friendly and can speak some English and German. Great place to meet with friends and have a good time.

β β β β β Absolutely fantastic beer selection. Staff takes great care of you. Selection of good quality snacks. Also have some wine and cocktail options. Cozy, great music, and a tv make it a great place to relax.

I wish there were a thousand stars to give this most delightful of places, honestly, although it still wouldn't be enough to do it justice.
The place is nothing short of a goldmine of the most obscure, and yet delicious and varied, craft beers flowing from the hop-fingered elves of family owned small businesses and brewers from across all of Italy. I am in awe of their ever rotating drink list.
But what's even more impressive is the infectious enthusiasm and jovial professionalism of the owner whom, had he not found his starry accomplishment in his current career, I would credit as the one of the most enthralling storytellers I've met.
His ability to recount the background info on each and every beer, threading it into the rich regional history that surrounds it, is pure entertainment and a history lesson of its own.
So do let him use his superpowers to guess your taste and advise accordingly on what suits it best - he can't go wrong!! Also, line your stomach with local umbrian delicacies: they'll keep you going while you work your way through the taps, and their deli board are mouthwatering too.
