★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Talk about a step back in time with the most wonderful hospitality. Our shopping experience was so delightful, we did not feel rushed, and there was a magical feel that seemed like it was right out of Harry Potter. There were treasures to see in every corner of the shop. It was our favorite store in Rome. A must visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to buy an astrolabe. Left with a sundial and a star clock. I wanted to come back for a compass, but it was closed for siesta. I'll just order one through their online shop. The packaging is absolutely lovely. Fantastic gifts or unique items for people who like the art and history of navigation and timekeeping or to teach children about astronomy and the natural world. Also just beautiful objects made well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fascinating craftsman's shop, I recommend stopping in to look around, esp if you like to support local. They make nearly everything in shop - hour glasses, compasses, leather-bound books, wax seal stamps. Lots of beautiful curios to see, local jewelry. Staff were friendly and helpful, taught me how to use the things they make. Really unique shop, they clearly take pride in their work.

Unfortunately my son has forgot to bring hourglass back, even though the his initial are engraved by owner (owner's wife? She is beautiful And pregnancy).
I would appreciate to meet again with her new family and the hourglass!
