Paolino da Nola Vescovo (4 maggio), protettore della città, e Nostra Signora della Speranza (2 febbraio), Compatrona della Diocesi. Storia del Duomo di Senigallia La storia della Parrocchia di S. Pietro è intimamente legata a quella della Cattedrale di Senigallia, eretta a Parrocchia nel 1530 e segnata da varie fasi che ne scandiscono le ripetute edificazioni. La Chiesa attuale è infatti la quinta nel tempo. Costruita alla fine del Settecento, sostituisce il precedente edificio, sito nei pressi della piazza del municipio. Alle origini il territorio parrocchiale comprendeva tutta Senigallia, sino a che vennero apportati significativi smembramenti, come quello del 1628 con il quale si creano sia la Parrocchia del Porto che quella del Portone.

History of the Cathedral of Senigallia The history of the Parish of St. Peter is intimately linked to that of the Cathedral of Senigallia, built as a Parish in 1530 and marked by various phases that mark its repeated construction. The current Church is in fact the fifth in time. Built at the end of the eighteenth century, it replaces the previous building, located near the town hall square. At the origins the parish territory included all of Senigallia, until significant dismemberments were made, such as that of 1628 with which both the Parish of the Port and that of the Portone were created.
