Il Duomo, oggi purtroppo chiuso, il monte di pietà ed il vecchio ospedale vi si affacciavano a fronte di uno splendido scenario che comprendeva la parte più vecchia del paese.

Ha subito varie trasformazioni nel tempo, che l'hanno resa uno scrigno di opere d'arte eccezionali. Sì affaccia su una incantevole piazza dove vi sono altri monumenti che impreziosiscono il borgo.
Su di un lato si erge la roccia su cui è costruito il borgo antico del castello.
Nell'insieme si ha una sensazione di bellezza e di armonia.
