foce del canale che collega al mare il lago Lungo e costituisce il Sito di Importanza Comunitaria SIC IT6040021 “Duna di Capratica”.
La duna ospita una flora ricca di molte piante caratteristiche ed è ben conservata dal punto di vista morfologico.
Oltre la duna si estende una zona di aquitrini che la collega al lago Lungo.
Si tratta di un ambiente molto interessante, da visitare con il dovuto rispetto, che meriterebbe di essere meglio tutelato con l'inserimento in un'area protetta regionale.
The dune of Capratica extends from the mouth of the Pedemontano canal to the
mouth of the canal that connects Lake Lungo to the sea and constitutes the Site of Community Importance SIC IT6040021 "Dune of Capratica".
The dune is home to a flora rich in many characteristic plants and is well preserved from a morphological point of view.
Beyond the dune is an area of aquitrine that connects it to the Lungo lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ il mare è spettacolare, le dune sono tenute bene, la spiaggia è pulita, c'è sia il parcheggio a pagamento che gratuito, ci sono i lidi attrezzati, c'è Bruno che affitta ombrelloni e lettini oppure c'è una lunghissima e meravigliosa spiaggia libera.
