★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non conosco di persona questo individuo ma mi è bastata una telefonata per farmi desistere dal farlo: soffrendo di un disturbo all’apparato, che mi ha condotto a esperienze drammatiche, l’ho chiamato per capire se il suo approccio al problema fosse solo di tipo medico-chirurgico, o se offrisse anche supporto psicologico pre e post intervento. Dopo avermi interrotto lasciandomi improvvisamente in attesa per svariati secondi (senza nemmeno scusarsi una volta tornato), mi ha liquidato con tono scontroso e saccente con un “ne sa evidentemente molto poco della materia, lei”. E arrivederci.
Ha ragione: sono ignorante in materia e per questo mi rivolgo a professionisti, forse con l’illusione di trovare dall’altra parte un minimo di tatto, se non altro per educazione. In lei non l’ho trovato.

He is right: I am ignorant on the subject and for this reason I turn to professionals, perhaps with the illusion of finding a minimum of tact on the other side, if only for education. I did not find it in her.
