★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Donna Carmela è stata una scoperta davvero piacevole: inizialmente scelto solo in quanto locale più vicino al Santuario dell'Addolorata, una delle mete del viaggio mio e della mia fidanzata, abbiamo trovato in questo piccolo locale un'atmosfera familiare, quasi come di una cucina casalinga, ma al contempo un menù ricco di sapori tipici e gustosi, al punto che avremmo voluto fare lì più di un pasto per poter provare tutto ciò che ci attirava, dai molti sughi di carne a piatti con ingredienti particolari come la borragine. Per di più - cosa ormai rara - i piatti erano piuttosto sostanziosi e abbondanti, siamo usciti di lì soddisfatti e sazi pur avendo speso cifre contenute
Donna Carmela was a really pleasant discovery: initially chosen only as the closest place to the Sanctuary of the Addolorata, one of the destinations of my and my girlfriend's trip, we found in this small place a familiar atmosphere, almost like a kitchen housewife, but at the same time a menu full of typical and tasty flavors, to the point that we would have liked to have more than one meal there to be able to try everything that attracted us, from the many meat sauces to dishes with special ingredients such as borage. Moreover - which is now rare - the dishes were quite substantial and abundant, we left there satisfied and full despite having spent small amounts

We stayed three days in Castel Petroso and ate with my wife always lunch and dinner. Excellent cuisine, good price, very friendly staff. I highly recommend it to everyone. We are from Latina but we will be back for sure. From appetizer to dessert all excellent, grade 10 +
