Alleine die Anfahrt zum Anwesen lässt schon einen großen Ehrgeiz dafür vermuten, dass man nichts dem Zufall überlassen möchte. Der landschaftlich großartig und geschmackvoll in den Hang eingebaute Keller mit Fasslager (französische Eiche, max. für 4 Jahre) und Stahltanks verrät hohe Professionalität. Die Weine sind schon geschmacklich reif, obwohl dieser Standard des Weinbaus erst seit weniger als 10 Jahren betrieben wird. Die Preise sind sowohl moderat für Weißweine (8-10 Euro), ein Einstiegswein in Rot für ca. 12 Euro, aber auch eine Cuvee für über 35 Euro und ein sortenreiner Petit Verdot für noch etwas darüber. Letzteres muss nicht sein, ist mir einfach zu mächtig und gehört ins Cuvee, aber das ist ausschließlich meine Meinung. Ein Weingut, das man beobachten sollte. The winery was created by an Italian family living in Canada to be a real eye-catcher. The journey to the property alone suggests a great deal of ambition that you don't want to leave anything to chance. The beautifully landscaped and tastefully built cellar with barrel storage (French oak, max. For 4 years) and steel tanks shows a high level of professionalism. The wines are already ripe in terms of taste, although this standard of viticulture has only been practiced for less than 10 years. The prices are moderate for white wines (8-10 euros), an entry-level red wine for around 12 euros, but also a cuvee for over 35 euros and a single-origin Petit Verdot for a little more. The latter does not have to be, is just too powerful for me and belongs in the cuvee, but that is exclusively my opinion. A winery to watch.

Questo a ben guardare rende i vini Domodimonti anche superiori ai vini biologici od "organic" che non escludono interventi chimici nel processo di vinificazione. Il titolare dell'azienda è un famoso magnate dell'industria farmaceutica intollerante ai solfiti... che sia una garanzia? Domodimonti is a wine cellar of natural wines or better "Natural Wines", wines that in the production of the grapes and in the cellar reduce the chemical intervention to a minimum. On closer inspection this makes Domodimonti wines even superior to organic or "organic" wines that do not exclude chemical interventions in the winemaking process. The owner of the company is a famous magnate of the pharmaceutical industry intolerant to sulphites ... which is a guarantee?
