★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical in this area to have to pay to go on the beach. This is the best public beach you will find. However it is a 40 min walk from the centre of viareggio. Can be difficult with a young family. Terrible viareggio manage the beaches in this way

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay at the public beach if you are from another country, otherwise they yell at you to get out of the private area. Sorry Canada includes everyone in our beaches..... Be patient with visitors. Even though we are happy and make lots of money to pay for a cabana. The private lifeguards were obnoxious.
