β β β β β TLDR: worth the visit but disappointed in the service.
After being recommended this place, we took the 30 min extra to have lunch here.
Apparently there are three different restaurants of the same butcher, and we ended up at the one opposite of the butcher shop.
Two reasons why only two stars:
- at entry the staff did not seem too friendly to explain the difference between the three different places, and how the menu worked. Arrogant is the best way to describe it
- when getting our lunch nothing was explained at all, just places on the table and move on. When we asked for the beans we were missing it also was simply placed on the table.
However the meat plate was enormous and fairly priced and it seemed like locals enjoyed the placed greatly but as a tourist I find it hard to recommend

β β β β β Amazing experience, we had high hopes and reality exceeded all of them. The concept is wonderful, the food was even better, and the place is lovely and everyone was very nice. Solociccia is an experience you canβt miss if youβre in the area!

β β β β β Amazing experience. A warm welcome by Dario himself with a glass of wine and a delicious bite. Followed by an amazing and delicious menu. Great flavours and well prepared in a nice atmosphere. Even better because of Asia, our server who was very friendly with a good sense of humor and great service. Definitely recommend it.

β β β β β It is a lot of food! I would recommend only giving a single portion of each dish and allowing to pick more. Vegetarian and meat options. Very good price. Excellent concept. I know people donβt necessarily go for the olive cake, but it was lovely!

β β β β β It was a really really good experience and I would for sure return. Ensure you get a reservation before. You can pick from one of 3 menus varying in price and this will depend where you sit. The service was good and you wanted for nothing. It was a bit faster than I expected like they really do bring the meat quickly but itβs because itβs a whole operation. They speak both English and Italian and maybe some others. We did the most expensive menu and it was 50β¬ per person which honestly felt like a good deal. Watch out if the wine it will get you
I would return here if only to say Iβve been to the restaurant from chefs table.
