★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must have been the best lunch I have had in a very very long time. Especially the sandwich with bresaola and burrrata was out of this world. Also, we took the large (!) roast beef salad and got very delicious side-bread.

A bit disappointed with the tagliere (platter with deli) only one type of cheese and the meat was pretty basic.
The rest (crostini and focaccina were very good.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The salads were the best we had during our entire trip to Italy. Lovely setting and delightful staff. The Spritz was yummy. The restroom was clean. The experience was improved by the performance of a guitarist in the Square during our visit. Highly recommend.

“no pizza, no pasta, no stress”
We almost walked out when we realized they didn’t have pizza or pasta BUT glad that we did. We had the beef tartare and porchetta sandwich and they were both great. This place was just one of the highly rated placed inside the walls of Lucca and was exceptionally busy on a sunny spring Sunday.
