M	Matthias Engler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New owner, renovated, similar menu, tasty food, service could be a improved - that was 10 months ago. Now the service is ok, but food quality became really bad. Pizza and risotto were created unpassionately. Not recommended anymore :-(
A	Axel Holdaas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have just had the worst dining experience during our 14 days in the Garda area at Da Carlo! Our waiter fist mixed up the starter my wife ordered when she pointed in the menu at the text. When it came in wrong, the waiter started to argue and say she had ordered wrong. She did though get her "right" starter after a while. Almost an hour later the main course arrived, and my entrecote was almost well done, although I clearly ordered medium-rare, and said to the waiter that I would rather have it rare than medium. The waiter again started to argue with me, and was quite aggressive. I demanded to speak to the manager, who was stressed and took the waiters side. He promised me a new entrecote I 3 minutes, but it came first 10 minutes later. By then my sides were stone cold. No compensation for the bad food and behaviour. They clearly have to many tables for their staff and kitchen, and a bad attitude when they are stressed. ON A BUSY DAY, STAY AWAY!
P	Petr Pinkas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worse pizza in Lake Garda region. Gummy and acidic tasting. Super long waiting time to get the food and also to pay. We paid also for the couvert and haven’t got any bread or anything while others did. Staff also not so friendly. Just don’t go here if you have the choice. Edit after the reply from the owner: Treating someone as a first time visitor is a totally wrong practice. I've been in Italy at least 10 times, this time for 2 weeks and we had during these 2 weeks at least 10 or more pizzas. This one was simply the worst. If you have a super special kind you should state that in your menu. Just look at the other reviews, they state the quality of your pizza and staff. Being theatrical about bringing camera to take a photoshoot fo the newspaper makes you just sound like an idiot. Take care Mr. Owner.

When I pointed this out to the waiter, he told me that they were naturally very salty because of the ocean water, which is just nonsense. Go to the restaurant „Alla grotta“, which is right next door, and you‘ll see how mussels should taste like - without the excessive salt. The difference in quality of the cooking will be more than apparent. For the main dish, I ordered octopus, which was also too salty and unpleasantly chewy. On top of all that, the waiter would not stop asking us „Buono?“, although he knew we were unhappy with the salty food. Due to this bad experience, I really can’t recommend having dinner at this restaurant.
H	Hani al Sabti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst pizza in the entire Garda lake. I read the mixed reviews about this place but wanted to give them a chance and oh boy was I disappointed. The base was soft with insane amount of cheese. My pizza tonno had barely and fish and when I confronted them about it they went straight into defense telling me this is how a pizza should be!! Not recommended! Wasted 61 euros for 3 pizzas, 1 dry pasta and some shrimps.
