M	Mauro Verra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cuneo va raccontata partendo dal cuore: il balcone di piazza Galimberti con le figure sagomate che rappresentano la foto del 26 luglio 1943 e dello storico discorso di Duccio Galimberti, eroe nazionale della guerra partigiana; poi c'è la casa museo da visitare, con i libri, i quadri, i documenti e i ricordi, prima di scendere in piazza e scegliere una direzione verso cui camminare: verso via Roma, tutta pedonale, con i portici e la città vecchia, con il Museo civico, San Francesco, il Duomo e le altre chiese, la Torre Civica, le storie dei palazzi e la Storia della città; oppure verso il parco della Resistenza, con il monumento di Umberto Mastroianni e il Viale alberato, e poi su su fino al Santuario e poi ritorno; oppure ancora verso Corso Nizza, sotto i portici nuovi nella città moderna, fino a Piazza Europa e poi la nuova Piazza della Costituzione e ancora su fino alla Casa del Quartiere Donatello; nelle belle giornate si può scendere verso il Parco Fluviale per camminare o pedalare nel parco e tutto intorno alla città... Al telefono un impiegato molto cordiale mi ha fissato l'appuntamento dopo pochi giorni. Allo sportello l'impiegato è stato molto gentile ed esauriente. Uffici comunal dalla parte dei cittadini. Complimenti. I needed to go to the registry office. Access to the counters of the Municipality is very well organized. On the phone, a very friendly employee made an appointment for me after a few days. At the counter the clerk was very polite and thorough. Municipal offices on the side of the citizens. Well done.

The Town Hall, former Jesuit college. Inside it houses some frescoed rooms between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, including the richly decorated Hall of Honor.
