★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non ho capito se quando gli altri recensori scrivono di “personale cortese e disponibile” lo fanno sfottendo o sono seri.
Il locale è piccolino, stretto e profondo... saranno 30/40 coperti su tavoli e sedie di legno e look rustico.
Si mangia abb bene, noi ci andiamo spesso a pranzo (fanno menu a prezzo fisso, o primo/contorno o secondo/contorno eccetto pesce a 10€ mi sembra) ma ringraziando Dio non abbiamo problemi di orario perché certe volte la pausa pranzo di 1 ora non basta.
Se poi dopo 5 minuti che siamo arrivati noi si accoda 1 collega... non ti alzi prima delle 15 perché comunque non riescono a mettere 1 altro coperto al volo.
Per quel prezzo Ovviam le porzioni sono minime ma dovendo tornare al lav, va bene.
Il problema è il carattere della proprietaria: strilli e strepiti col marito in cucina e quando si arrabbia tratta male pure te che sei lì solo a pranzare, magari desiderando un po’ di tranquillità.
Anche poche persone in sala la mettono in difficoltà per il servizio: 1 bott d’acqua arriva dopo 20 min.
Peccato perché il marito in cucina è veram bravo e propone piatti non scontati ed eseguiti con maestria. 3 stelle allora come media tra cucina (5) e servizio (0)
 I do not know if when other reviewers write of "courteous and helpful staff" do or making fun are serious.
The place is small, narrow and deep ... 30/40 will be covered on wooden tables and chairs and rustic look.
You eat ga well, we often go there for lunch (they do a fixed price menu, or first / side dish or second / contour except fish at 10 € I think) but thank God we do not have problems of schedule because sometimes the lunch break of 1 now is not enough.
If then after five minutes we arrived we queued 1 connects ... you do not get up before 15 because they still can not put one other covered the fly.
For that price Ovviam the portions are small but having to return to the lav, all right.
The problem is the proprietary character screams and shouts with her husband in the kitchen and when he gets angry is bad even you, who are there only for lunch, wanting perhaps a bit 'of tranquility.
Even a few people in the room are a challenge for the service: 1 bottle of water came after 20 min.
Too bad because the husband in the kitchen is good and offers veram undiscounted dishes and executed with skill. 3 stars then by the average of the kitchen (5) and service (0)

Certo che glielo posso spiegare,....il 29 luglio eravate aperti (si ricordi) e le recensioni non è detto che bisogna farle lo stesso giorno della visita

tutto fresco, stagionale, preparato al momento, curato nella presentazione e con "guizzi" di originalità nel rivedere alcune ricette tipiche....prezzi abbordabbilissimi e, volendo, anche formula menù a prezzo fisso a pranzo
... even though I lived in the area I had never had the opportunity to stop there and it was a pleasant surprise ....
all fresh, seasonal, freshly prepared, with attention to presentation and with "flashes" of originality in revising some typical recipes .... very affordable prices and, if desired, also fixed price menu formula for lunch

My husband and I where next door and unfortunately mother nature called and I needed to go! I walked into the restaurant and headed straight for the washroom (albeit I had not acknowledged the owners as I walked in.. due to the urgency).
After a second there was a pound on the door, and when I came out.. the drama began.
The owners harassed me and down right attacked me for not having shown them the respect of greeting them!
I speak Italian and so they did not believe that was in fact a foreigner, and the argument continued for 15 min. I couldn't not believe what I was experiencing!
They wanted 5 Euro's for me using the washroom and after I explained that my husband was next door, and that I had no cash on me, they practically blocked the door.
I gave them the $10 Canadian that I had, to get them off my back... and went to get my husband.
When he came back with me, he couldn't believe what he was experiencing either!
He said you can't crucify someone for something like that!
They decided to take 2 Euros.
One thing that I can take away from this when you're in Italy, don't forget to ask to use the washroom!
After having told the story to MANY of my relatives in Italy, they too agree that it's still unacceptable behavior on a tourist!
