★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had carbonara, bean soup, steamed broccoli and steak.
Carbonara was too salty and the waiter even refused to acknowledge this, suggesting that my taste was off.
Bean soup tasted sour.
Broccoli was edible but I can cook better.
Steak was okay.

Such people should not open any service-related business!
I lived in Italy for over a year and never got anything close to this horrible behavior before. Just read how they comment on reviews to realize yourself...
There is a word that is defining perfectly in Italian this situation, it's called "Brutto".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, I cannot rate the food. When we entered the waitress told us that the restaurant would be full although there were some free table and far less than 18 guests as limited by Covid-19 restrictions. When we confronted her with this she refused to talk to us and let one of the guest tell us that we would have to make a reservation due to Covid-19 (despite I never heard about this requirement in Italy). It was a very disappointing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best service ever - Laura is fun, kind and looks after the client 360°. The atmospefere is very "Italian", it seems that for the time you are there, you are part of a bigger family. The food is amazing, really amazing and the portions super big for a very cheap price. If you are around, do not think twice about where to go to eat! Ah remember to book, i was looking for a table on Monday evening and i had to wait a bit :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small but cosy inside dining area, staff were so helpful and went above and beyond helping us even if we didnt speak any italian! Menu only available over a QR code. Food was tasty and made with fresh ingredients but could use a bit more seasoning. The wine was from a local vineyard and was such a great pairing to our meals

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a really lovely meal here at Cucine Clandestine. Excellent local red wine (a cab sav) and delicious food. You could not tell the pasta and gnocchi (and also the bread) were gluten free. Truly excellent service from our young waitress. Pity we found this on our last night in Reggio
