AMAZING, high quality food for very good prizes! Really helpful staff too, I really really recommend this place! Will definetly go back if I get the chance!

I have read the reviews of others how have eaten here and I do find myself surprised, per se, to have read such glowing feedback. Yes, the food was fine and yes, the staff very cordial and attentive. My problem, here, is not the food but how "technological" the restaurant was, in general. The menu, as I know they are in some other restaurants, is digital and has to be uploaded into one's phone in order to see what there is on the "menu" and to then order, digitally. I may be older than some but I am hardly ancient and know how my phone works, etc...but there is something most definitely lacking in an "all you can eat" sushi restaurant that gives a time table in order to order each round of food, which I believe was 6 minutes....and then, as you order, each portion one eats is not clear as I thought i was ordering for myself, not for my companion and I until a message popped up that I had to stop as I was exceeding the limit??!! I believed I had ordered some California Rolls for myself only to find I had ordered for us both and had to wait a few minutes in order to continue. it was so confusing, for me. My dining companion went to order and he couldn't as I had used up our "appetizer" limit. Well, I left it in my companion's hands at that point to order for us both, as he knows what I like and what I do not. There might be expediency in this type of menu and ordering but I feel that it makes the dining experience, which might sound old fashioned, lacking. I have been a waiter, often, in NYC, working while in school, in between jobs, etc..and one of the nice things about it was building a mini relationship between me and the guests but here, in this type of "techno dining", that is not possible and questions, in my opinion, would not have been appreciated, though the staff, in the few seconds they were bringing plates of sushi to the table, seemed accommodating. One must be ready for this "Jetsons" sort of restaurant and be at least somewhat tech savvy to understand it. The food we did order was OK, though some dishes, like simple Tempura, as it was server here, completely unknown to me. I am glad to have had the experience to know that I do not want to have it again. So, food was good and fresh. Cannot comment on the service, in truth, as the only interactions with the staff were drop offs and pick ups. When I did mention, when paying and asked if everything was OK, that I would not be returning because I felt the meal, which could have been and indeed, should be an intimate experience was completely off in my eyes, the server who was taking the money did not seem to appreciate my feedback, which simply reinforced my decision to not return to this restaurant and to check before going to any other restaurant, now, if the menu is fixed or will internet be needed in order to view the choices and order the food. Again, I might be "old fashioned" but am not old. I just know what makes a dining experience, an actual "experience. Cheers!
