Nella cripta, è tradizione suonare la pizzica e le canzoni popolari fino all'alba, durante la festa in onore del santo. Il prato davanti, in cima ad un'altura delle Serre salentine, garantisce rinfresco durante i mesi caldi. Adoravo andarci a studiare, con un piccolo telo da poggiare a terra.

The front lawn, on top of a hill in the Serre Salentine, guarantees refreshment during the warmer months. I loved going to study, with a small towel to rest on the ground.
