Se la situazione meteo è favorevole, il cortile è il luogo migliore per intrattenersi, come in occasione della festa per il matrimonio di mia figlia. Ovviamente il risultato dell'evento dipende anche dal fornitore del servizio di catering ma comunque la corte, anche se magari non grandissima, mette a disposizione una sala che ospita tranquillamente un centinaio di persone ed un bel giardino con erba curata e tavolini dove fare un piacevole aperitivo. Uniche nore dolenti: il bagno difficilmente accessibile ai disabili e il cioccolato di sassi grossi ed arrotondati all'ingresso che distrugge facilmente i tacchi delle invitate ed impedisce ai passeggini di muoversi sopra (le ruote si incastrano facilmente tra i sassi ed è quindi necessario "tirare" il passeggino tenendo le ruote frontali più piccole sollevate) Wonderful location for a wedding. L'edificio, edificato dalla famiglia Della Padella, ha un aspetto rustico, fa pensare più ad una cascina che a una villa, probabilmente perché fu edificato da benestanti non nobili. Sorprende, quindi, trovare al suo interno una sala completamente decorata con in ciclo di affreschi a tema profano, con scene di caccia e d'amore. Dal casino di caccia si accede al piccolo delizioso giardino di Villa Borromeo. Decisamente merita una visita. La cosa dolente è il fatto che se si trova una giornata di brutto tempo il matrimonio è rovinato come successo a una coppia di amici, nel cascinale coperto entrava acqua dappertutto e anche molta e dalle tegole a vista cadevano anche chicchi di grandine pezzi di foglie e polvere. Con conseguente disagio x tutti e sposi disperati e mortificati.
