W	Willy Schnyder on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a small but professional wine producer, not one of the biggest with showroom etc. We found Corte Fornaledo in Purano. By phone we took an appointment and had a very interesting, charming and professional visit of the the winery (outside and inside). Giacomo Borghetti, the owner explained us everything (in very good English). He is working together with his brother the wines: Valpolicalla Classico Superiore DOC, Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC, Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, Ricieto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG and Vitae IGT ROSSO VERONA. He even has some great olive oil. The charming part is, that the Borghetti brothers are selling themselves their production and have not an expensive distribution partner system. The wines were excellent, especially the Amarone (very personal). Of course everybody has a different taste, but we loved. Giacomo said: you come as a potential interested person and you go as a friend. We can really confirm this philosophy. We can anytime recommend Corte Fornaledo, Giacomo and his professional way of talking about his passion and profession and of course the wines! We enjoyed all of the wines but I must admit to being partial to the Amarone. Make plans to visit Corte Fornaledo. We will during our next trip. You will have a personalized experience and enjoy the sincere appreciation of Giacomo and his family!

We were greeted at the entrance by Giacomo and his very friendly dogs. We loved the walk around the vineyards. Giacomo was very patient and carefully explained the entire process and the history of the wine region. The wine tasting was amazing. Giacomo explained each and every wine to us. We left here feeling happy, drunk, informed and a few bottles heavier. ;) The prices were very reasonable for that amazing tasting wine. Definitely a recommended to anyone who is around this region. Edit: don't underestimate that olive oil. ;)
