★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had ordered a taxi from the hotel rouge et noir rome he arrived on time but he had already 7euro on the tax machine I asked him to take me to bus terminal tiburtina when I got there on his tax machine was 12 euro and 20 cents which I was ok no problem but he asked me for 17 euro on a trip Wichita was normal 12 euro max the indicative of the taxi was Atlanta 31

A taxi from crowne plaza hotel to the Vatican does NOT cost €20.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do Not Take this Taxi. They will rip you off. My husband was sick so I had to send him back to the hotel. The taxi driver did not turn on his meter. The taxi driver charged 3 times the amount to my husband. My husband did not know better and had no choice as he had no phone or way of getting back to hotel once I put him in the taxi. I wish I was with him inside the taxi. I would of made the taxi driver stop and let us out the minute I saw the meter not running. This is the only company that ripped us off in Italy during our 2 week stay. Shame on Pronto Taxi Service. I called Pronto Taxi Service but they kept hanging up on me when I tried to report it. I disputed the charge with my bank so they can take care of Pronto taxi for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ after a lot of effort I was told that a taxi arrives in 20 minutes and after an hour passed I was told that taxis are not allowed to enter the Ciampino airport and that I had to take my luggage alone ... and walk outside the main road to find the taxi by myself ...
after I went outside ... seeing a taxi with the company sign ... the driver rudely did not even answer us ... and after a while a taxi came with a kind driver ... who was notified at that time and picked me up. ..
the conclusion is yours to make!!! NEVER...NEVER...AND NEVER AGAIN!!
