Molto efficace per lo spirito. Convent of the Dominican friars San Domenico di Chieri (To). Much spirituality and availability of the Friars. Large spaces for meditation and liturgical conversation. Very effective for the spirit.

Esso è oggetto di diverse inverstigazioni scientifiche che non hanno potuto stabilire la composizione della stoffa, che è di una materia sconosciuta, né spiegare perché il nodo è impossibile a disfare. The Order of St. Dominic preserves in this church the cord given by the angels to St. Thomas Aquinas, after the temptation against the purity to which he was subjected. It is the subject of various scientific inverstigations that could not establish the composition of the fabric, which is of an unknown material, nor explain why the knot is impossible to undo.

I frati domenicani e in particolare il priore sono molto molto accoglienti A fantastic place, of great meditation and spirituality. Large spaces inside the convent and a beautiful park. V	Vik C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa conserva diversi antichi tesori, tra cui pregiate opere del Moncalvo, La Resurrezione di Lazzaro e La Moltiplicazione dei pani, al quale fu affidata nel 1614 la decorazione del coro. Vi sono inoltre presenti opere di Giovanni Martino Spanzotti. Di pregevole interesse è La Madonna del latte, affrescata sulla prima colonna di sinistra, che rappresenta l'allattamento del Bambino da parte della Madonna. The church houses several ancient treasures, including valuable works by Moncalvo, The Resurrection of Lazarus and the multiplication of the loaves, which was entrusted in 1614 the decoration of the choir. There are also works by Giovanni Martino Spanzotti. Of great interest is the Madonna of the milk, frescoed on the first column on the left, which represents the nursing of the Child by the Madonna.

Nel convento si tengono seminari o conferenze aperti alla cittadinanza, saltuariamente. Nella Chiesa a volte si tengono concerti di musica sacra, l'acustica è ottima. I frati sono molto accoglienti e disponibili. Splendid Gothic church of the Dominican order, which leads to a large convent with a large garden / vegetable garden. Seminars or conferences open to citizens are held occasionally in the convent. Sacred music concerts are sometimes held in the church, the acoustics are excellent. The friars are very welcoming and helpful.
