★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa della Madonna dei Rimedi costituisce, assieme al convento dei Carmelitani Scalzi a Piazza Indipendenza, un complesso religioso barocco nel centro storico di Palermo. La prima struttura è stata realizzata nel 1609 sotto il dominio del viceré spagnolo Giovanni Fernandez Paceco; in seguito, la costruzione fu continuata grazie al contributo del Senato Palermitano, che terminò la costruzione della chiesa nel 1625. Nel 1844 la chiesa venne restaurata e modificata nella suo arredamento originario. Soltanto sotto il cardinale Ruffini la chiesa venne consacrata di nuovo nel 1949 e dedicata alla Madonna dei Rimedi.
The Church of the Madonna of the Remedies constitutes, together with the convent of the Discalced Carmelites at Piazza Indipendenza, a baroque religious complex in the historical center of Palermo. The first structure was built in 1609 under the dominion of the Spanish viceroy Giovanni Fernandez Paceco; later, the construction was continued thanks to the contribution of the Palermo Senate, which completed the construction of the church in 1625. In 1844 the church was restored and modified into its original decor. Only under Cardinal Ruffini the church was consecrated again in 1949 and dedicated to the Madonna of the Remedies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lì mi sento a casa mia... la frequento da oltre 40 anni e mi sono trovato sempre molto bene. Al momento stanno facendo lavori di ristrutturazione e quindi non si può apprezzare la bellezza di questo Santuario, ma oltre ad essere grande e spazioso è davvero molto bello.
There I feel at home ... I have been attending it for over 40 years and I have always found myself very well. At the moment they are doing renovations and therefore you cannot appreciate the beauty of this Sanctuary, but besides being large and spacious it is really very beautiful.
