★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una struttura bellissima e imponente che sorveglia dall'alto la città di Imperia. è la chiesa più grande di tutta la Liguria. Consiglio vivamente una visita se ci si trova in zona.
 A beautiful and impressive structure that overlooks the city of Imperia. it is the largest church in all of Liguria. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Una grande chiesa in stile barocco con l'alta volta sorretta da colonne candide e la volta decorata da fiori.
Walk down a small street of paradise and, around the corner, you are dazzled by the whiteness of the cathedral.
A large baroque style church with a high vault supported by white columns and a vault decorated with flowers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful basilica, very well maintained. Though... I must say, if you are visiting Imperia and looking for a place to stay then you have to keep away from this area. The bells were louder than a Madonna concert and they ring from 7am to late at night. The irony in this is that before even letting you know what time it is, it starts with a mini bell concert composed of at least 15 very loud rings. It also feels the need to let you know when the clock reach a quarter and then a half meaning that you only get 14 minutes of silence at a time.
Our baby woke up every hour which made it a nightmare for us. It’s one thing to have strong built bells but another to feel that it’s appropriate NOT to adapt the noise to its surroundings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cathedral is not that old and you can see this modern architecture in a special way. Lots of marble columns and chandeliers on the ceiling. I haven't seen that yet.
