Costruito nella seconda metà del XVI secolo, dopo che gli Orsini avevano acquistato il feudo, dall’architetto Floro Campanile e da maestranze cavesi, ha un’imponente mole, espressione dell’architettura rinascimentale. Si sviluppa intorno ad un cortile centrale quadrato, con due piani rialzati, uno nobile e uno di sottotetto. The ducal palace, seat of the Orsini feudal lords of Solofra, stands in the sixteenth-century center of the town, in a large space where there are other central elements of the history of Solofra, opposite and in opposition to the Collegiate, expression of the local Universitas. Built in the second half of the sixteenth century, after the Orsini had purchased the fiefdom, by the architect Floro Campanile and by Cavesi workers, it has an imposing size, an expression of Renaissance architecture. It develops around a central square courtyard, with two raised floors, one noble and one in the attic.
G	Giammarco Eletto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ imponente struttura storica appartenuta in passato a personaggi nobili che ora fanno parte della storia di Solofra e del suo comune e poi successivamente donata alle istituzioni e finemente ristrutturata.Adiacente è presente una ampia piazza con bar e ancora una importante chiesa, Chiesa dell' Angelo con al suo interno tante sculture e dipinti storici che narrano vicende della Bibbia. Del municipio non posso aggiungere altro perché non visitabile e quindi rimando alla ricerca delle informazioni su fonti adeguate. Il posto non è difficile da raggiungere però è abbastanza distante dall'uscita dell'autostrada inoltre alle spalle della sopracitata chiesa è presente un ampio parcheggio gratuito. imposing historical structure that in the past belonged to noble people who are now part of the history of Solofra and its municipality and then later donated to the institutions and finely restored.
