★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paesino a circa 700 m sul livello del mare, circondato da monti ricoperti di boschi, ha un centro storico tipicamente medievale. Grazioso e molto ben tenuto, ha due bel vedere, il primo, all'ingresso del paese che si affaccia sulla città di Isernia, il secondo, sulla piazza principale, che ci dona una bellissima panoramica su un vero e proprio polmone Verde.
Bello il monumento ai caduti della piazza.
Bella da visitare anche la Chiesa di San Nicola.
Sottostante al paese trovate un percorso meraviglioso, completamente immerso nella verde, potete risalire il fiume Lorda con rapide e cascata.Assolutamente da non perdere.
Ottimo il Ristorante in loco dove si possono assaporare I piatti tipici che non dovete non assaggiare.
Nella frazione sottostante, Temennotte, al Ristorante Lo Zodiaco, potato mangiare benissimo, consiglio la pizza, ottima.
La popolazione è cordiale.
Vi consiglio caldamemte di visitarlo soprattutto nella Bella stagione.
A small village about 700 m above sea level, surrounded by mountains covered with woods, it has a typically medieval historic center. Graceful and very well kept, it has two beautiful sights, the first, at the entrance to the town overlooking the city of Isernia, the second, on the main square, which gives us a beautiful view of a real green lung.
The war memorial in the square is beautiful.
The Church of San Nicola is also worth visiting.
Below the village you will find a wonderful path, completely surrounded by greenery, you can go up the river Lorda with rapids and a waterfall. Absolutely not to be missed.
The on-site restaurant is excellent, where you can taste the typical dishes that you shouldn't miss.
In the hamlet below, Temennotte, at the Ristorante Lo Zodiaco, eat very well, I recommend the pizza, excellent.
The population is friendly.
I strongly advise you to visit it especially in the summer.
